I sold my promo/white label copy of "In complete darkness" for £62 on discogs 3 years ago. If you have the label release it's actually worth more, providing it's in excellent condition. Just proves even happy hardcore tracks can have some aura about them \o/
Можно слушать по 8-ой трек включительно, а далее... А далее Bouncy Techno, к которому никогда тёплых чувств не испытывал и не испытаю.
classic mix!

@@timthegallant I've never had an issue with Jungle : from about 93 it was Jungle Techno : Summer; Happy Hardcore : Winter; the issue I had was the scene itself suffered from all the trappings that came with it.

Case in point, the first time I was offered Crack was by a very well known local DJ who joined the scene when Jungle was on the rise. The girls I knew tended to feel less safe and were getting propositioned or straight up assaulted more and more frequently, and you had large groups effectively turning areas iof a venue nto rudimentary "county lines." I even recall seeing lads, off their faces and just having an absolute blast, then having their noses smeared across their face because "you wuz starin' at me da wrong way, blud."

@@bigpauliep6992 to be honest we tended to avoid notorious trouble spots.but happy hardcore just wasnt for me really.i really liked these slammin vinyl old skool classics albums.but much preffered the kenny ken/rat pack, ellis dee/sy,and slipmatt/brockie.i highly reccomend those 3 wich comprehensively covered the 92 to 95 period.i just loved the breakbeats and feel jungle evolved more fluidly from hardcore and darkside more then happy hardcore did.but thats just me.
Massive memories 🙂💊

They made that tune to prove that people would dance to anything ….fuck me they were right it took off😫
Toy Town marked the end of a era ( well a bit before this really ) no proper breakbeats no bass and no minor piano notes it turned into euro beat of something
doves were are they lol

I had the Ellis dee n sy cd for years. Ellis dee snapped over a month ago, sy snapped about 2 weeks ago. Wounded. Haven't checked disogs yet but theres 3 available on Amazon.... £148, £148 and £203 wtf!!?? Wouldn't ave cared to much but there was a dj friendly vinyl in the local 2nd hand record shhop on stockton high street for years. Mint condition, bout 12 - 15 quid. Why.... Why..!?

Yea theyd bn sat in the boot of me work car without us realising. Got a bit of water on em n they musta gone brittle as fook. Took em out playing them in our lasses car n they were working ok considering they were scratched to death. Cd player in here cars a wee bit shite tho so thought I'll give em a wipe down on me joggers to clean em up. Bang snapped at the slightest bit of flex, really brittle. Twice, just didnt think with the 2nd one

Don't know why shortcake came up. I ment acid
I only came here for THC - Sunshine (because its not on youtube). Top tunes on this mix to begin with but my ears started to bleed after 31.00 mins, nappy hardcore
Everyone has there own opinion in the music but is old skool this decade better than main stream hardcore? 😁

Didn't really fit with the start, I'll agree. But still love me some Toytown. \o/
The only criticism I'd have of this mix is Toytown is really out of place. I love the tune but it probably would have been better placed as the last track in the mix considering the rest of the mix is a real progression. Besides that it's a fantastic mix and a decent showcase of Hardcore music through the 90s.
CD1 has been blocked in the UK, by the looks of it.

It's been up since 2014. Idk why they've only just decided to block it now. There's no point re-uploading it, they'll block it again. Thanks for the heads up tho.

@@danielwelsh1043 There has been good music written within the Hardcore genre every year since 1991. 2001 for instance I consider to be a particularly strong and underrated year for Hardcore :)
Yoo, homie, wtf is up with the ads? Never had that before and hella lame profiting off shit that you didn't create. Fuckin' up the mood by having to skip ads!
Should have kept the original ‘in effect’! All tunes after that are horrible bouncy techno rubbish which killed the scene👎
Pretty solid set : right up until that bouncy Scooter-esq Eurobeat commercial-rave-lite b*llocks kicked in. Took me right out of the vibe.
