you can actually stay on top if you walk towards the middle when it hits you, causing you to not fall off the edge and barely recover in time. Then, at the time of me typing this, there's also a glitch where if you survive his first swing, his second swing won't even hit you no matter what

i love using them to take out annoying bosses like drizzlers and steelheads in a single go lol

I discovered it on accident... I thought I could camp on top and splat other lesser Salmonids while riding it. That's when I heard it grabbing its ladle and it knocked me off. Thank goodness I wasn't above water. That would've been a funny fail on my end. XD

Cannonicly, slammin lid's saucer are expensive to make and require veteran pilots to operate. The pilot can't just let you dirty or leave marks on such an expensive and fragile machinery right ? Also pilot of slammin lid : **crash the whole damn thing on you**

Hey, they gotta use that complex machinery for its intended purpose. I suppose Inkling/Octoling/Salmonid innards are easier to clean off the bottom.

Woah I never knew this! I find it funny that it's a golf club they use too; really making sure that 1 swing is enough lol Edit: I have been told that it's actually a ladle and upon rewatching the video it indeed is. It does make sense considering that the other salmonids have various other cooking utensils/tools tbh

I thought this was gonna be the Slammin' Lid glitch that happened to me.

If it makes you feel better, I dealt with Slammin Lid, then as it came down, a Maws snatched me before I hit the ground. I pretty much fell into the Maws’ maws of death.

Slamin lid is a lifesaver

Peace was never an option

The EXACT same thing happened to me and I had the EXACT same reaction

Same happened to me! I didn't think there were any consequences so I decided to stay when all of a sudden, i fell down and almost drowned and surrounded. I recorded back to see what pushed me and I found out it was HIM.

Last time a slammin lid knocked me off was above a pool of salmonids. Let’s just say it didn’t go so well for me our the salmonids below the slammin lid…
