C'est sous un temps couvert et froid que s'est déroulée la 6e et dernière manche du championnat de Suisse des slaloms ce week-end sur la place d'arme militaire de Chamblon.
Le résumé du slalom de Chamblon 2024 sera un peu plus light qu'en règle générale. Cela reflète bien la situation du jour J.
Habituellement extrêmement motivé et content de rouler, cette fois-ci, je n'ai pas d'explication mais je ne me sentais pas en forme et peu motivé.
Après un premier passage sans forcer, je réalise d'entrer de jeu un chrono de 3:07.279 soit 1 seconde plus rapide que ma meilleure manche lors de la précédente édition. Malgré ça, j'ai vite compris que les conditions météo ne correspondraient pas à mon type de gomme ce jour-là.
Deuxième manche, la pluie s'invite alors que nous sommes alignés sur la ligne de départ. J'ai pu reprendre un peu mes repaires et du rythme mais la fin du tracé étant bien humide, je décide de ne pas forcer.
1ère manche course, je décide de me mettre un petit coup de pied au cul et avec les conseils de mon ami Lionel, je réalise un magnifique 3:03.472. Je ne m'attendais vraiment pas mais ça m'a reboosté et permis de tirer un réel positif de cette journée.
Juste avant le départ de la 2ème manche course, j'aperçois des dégâts sur la fixation de mon cardan arrière gauche. Je décide donc d'y aller molo histoire de ne pas causer davantage de problèmes avant la course du week-end prochain.
Bilan un peu mitigé au vu de mon état d'esprit ce jour-là mais parfois, ce n'est juste pas notre journée. Je reste néanmoins très heureux de mon chrono, il ne sera pas facile à battre l'an prochain.

The 6th and final round of the Swiss slalom championship took place this weekend on the military weapon square in Chamblon.
The summary of the Chamblon 2024 slalom will be a little more light than in general. This reflects the current situation.
Usually extremely motivated and happy to drive, this time, I have no explanation but I didn't feel fit and unmotivated.
After a first pass without forcing, I realize to get into play a time of 3:07.279 which is 1 second faster than my best run in the previous edition. Despite that, I quickly realized that the weather conditions would not match my type of tire that day.
Second round, the rain is coming as we are aligned on the starting line. I was able to regain my repairs and some rhythm but the end of the track is very wet, I decide not to force.
1st run, I decide to put a little kick and with the advice of my friend lionel, I make a magnificent 3:03.472. I did not really expect it but it reboosted me and allowed me to draw a real positive from this day.
Just before the start of the 2nd race, I noticed damage to my left back cardan. So I'm deciding to go there so as not to cause more trouble before next weekend's race.
A bit of a mixed balance given my mood that day, but sometimes, it's just not our day. Nevertheless, I am very happy with my time, it will not be easy to beat next year.
