Flat tire after eight hours of off road. Took my tools out, grabbed the tube... Put it all away and rod home. It was 37 degrees and dammit I was too cold and tired to fight a tube! - Frank

Cool video. I just got 2024 901 E. Music needs to be little lower. Normally, I would not care, but your commentary is very good.

Nice, I enjoyed this. Just 3 regular dudes riding sweet bikes falling over, kinda like me.

I'll keep this in mind next time I"m in Huntsville, AL.

This one is more east of Birmingham, but Bankhead National Forest has a TON of great trails which is just south of Huntsville.

Folks that ride DR650s regularly disable the switch at the kickstand. Seems like a common problem. Nice video. Thanks!

Thanks! I’m still running with a magnet tapes to the sensor for now. 😆 Gotta pull the fuel tanks to install the bypass. 🤦‍♂️

Nice vid Sir ? But please wear good protection. 11 years ago broke 4 spines, an elbow and a wrist. If i back then would not had good gear. I would not type this. A fall can be so suddenly. Have fun and ride safe.👍

Hate to “see” a problem like that even though it’s things like that I’ve been wary about since picking up the exact same bike over the always trusty AT. Hope I can avoid such luck but of course you did nothing wrong and it’s just a roll of the dice heading out on any ADV bike. Cheers to less BS in the future! 🏍️💨

Going up today to ride 600-1, taking the 390 Adv instead of the Norden :) I put that dongle on it a couple weeks ago! Seems to cure a lot of issues, especially bumping the kickstand with your foot when standing on the pegs! After this video I am going to order it for the 901 also :)

I hope the ride went well! I've been out of commission for a while. Had a little boo-boo on the Navi and messed up my right hand. Would love to connect for a ride sometime.

Loved the video, pretty good all around! One minor personal thing; Maybe tone the music down a peg or two. Its just a bit too "epic" when nothing is really happening, throws off the pacing and I find myself waiting for something to happen that never does. Save the epic music for those awesome views and spectacular moments, and make it a bit more chill while just chugging along. Thats my 2 cents, do what you will with it ;) Anyways, great vid! Subscribed!

Great footage. The weathered-looking guy in the orange jacket really looks like he knows his stuff - especially the way he demonstrated his breast stroke in that puddle. Is he like your coach or mentor or something? 😂

Buying the side stand dongle for my 701 is first on the list before riding season starts next year. I figure if you're dumb enough to take off with the kick stand down you deserve what happens next. Thanks.

Stands for the non technical stuff, sits for the technical stuff ... Your line prior to your fall, what the heck were you thinking? Did you really think you were going to ride up that angled ledge?

That side stand sensor is so dumb...ktm/husky should at least allow you to disable that in software so you aren't stranded in the middle of nowhere with a non starting crippled bike.

Toads like this buy up all the bad ass bikes. Bikes which have capabilities that are greater than the riders skill level. Should have gotten the base model, and left the limited amount of Expedition models go into hands of riders who will actually benefit from the upgraded suspension and unlocked maps with more power. I get it, their money spends the same as mine. But still make fun of goofy bastards like this
