Ayy, I've been waiting for this! In light of recent events I just wanted to say - please don't hold back on your usual honest feedback and criticism. It's the best tool I can use to improve the overall experience and it was super helpful when evaluating the flaws of the shire so they could be refined/avoided in this project. Anyway, looking forward to the rest of series and thanks for the exposure!

Oh I don't really plan on changing how I handle my reviews, opinions, etc because of the previous mod. Can I always work on trying to find ways to better convey my thoughts? Yes. But I'm still gonna be the same sarcastic, snarky guy that I've always been.

@@GrilledCheese982 Eh the MA just wasn't happy with the review, felt it wasn't a fair representation of the mod, and so George wasn't going to give it a fair review? It is said the MA was a bit disrespectful during their disagreements so George decided to scrap the review altogether since the MA wasn't happy with it anyway. They felt the mod should've been played alongside the main quest but I'm not sure how since the mod itself is set in an entirely different worldspace and from what I saw there is no incentive to go back and forth between Skyrim. But maybe that's where the discrepancy was? That the viewers weren't seeing those quests to send us back or something haha idk. The MA has faced bullying in the community so I don't want this to be a trash talking thing I just think they had different view points and maybe the MA will do a review of their own mod on their channel which I would watch :) as I'm still interesting in seeing the whole mod.

i wish their was an anti-hero route, you seemingly betray your band of merry men (and women) but you play your cards right and someone notices you're just playing a double agent, and he and a choice few others are sparred from your seemingly dark path, and its not until the quest is over when they realize your good deeds and a few apologize for not trusting you, while some are more reasonably pissed they weren't informed so their friends wouldn't have to waste their lives.

In the wake of Game of Thrones, never assume your sister is not a romance option.

This mod author is amazing. "Stop acting weird". So immersive and hilarious.

(Argonian Dovahkin looks at Nord woman telling it, it is family) The Hist works in many ways.

@@Ellimist000 Yes, if the Dragonborn is an elf, orc, breton, redguard then they could be half-siblings or adopted, but if the Dragonborn is an argonian or khajiit, then they definetly are not related.

Damn it, another mod which I don't know whether I should watch George play it or play it myself first.

Pretty sure that part when she melted the wall of ice, it was supposed to be her using the fire breath shout, you just didn't notice it

I can’t wait to see how this turns out, as soon as you set Iriel free she made a slight hint that you were related and I picked up on it. I will say, when Iriel was talking about you being siblings, I could believe her, the note from the Stormcrows… eh, kind of fishy. This has already gotten off to a great start and I am so excited to see more.

Since this mod is made by the same person who made the Shire mod, I wonder if Stormcrow is a reference to LOTR, where Theoden - under Saruman's control - refers to Gandalf as Stormcrow.

Not sure how it works with modded races, but she was an argonian for me so I’m guessing she’s always the same vanilla race at least

The fire at the blocked snow exit was meant to be the fire shout signifying she can shout Also, the only other people that you shout at is the Greybeards and Parthanax. Interesting detail that Thu'um users and figure out the difference of learned and born talent

16:20 which shout is the most impressive? well, CLEARLY the "Summon Durnehviir" shout. no doubt about it! although it might be tricky to fit him inside this tiny cave

lol, I freaking knew it was a long lost sibling/twin story with her the moment she started talking so vaguely. Like seriously lady? Now I'm also curious about players who are non-human or even Elf races. Are your parents supposed to be one Nord and one of the player race? Either way it doesn't gel if you've already head-canoned your character backstory as having a bio-family or something.

Dang, barely in and I already love it. The voice acting is flavorful and fun and the writing tickles me in the most delightful way: "It appears democracy has failed me but at least we have the Dragonborn now." 😂👌🌟

How does it feel to have a sister DB? My character was skeptical too and then accepted it quickly because they are alike (same hairs color and eyes) and almost same personality. Roleplaying during this mod was very fun

@@Emperor_of_Perdition I'm open minded right now, it wasn't something I expected when I started the mod, but I had read that they handle the backstory for your character pretty well later on. There was some fun dialogue when we got to the island that really made me like the idea of the sibling dynamic with her

Me, playing a full Redguard: "Whose gatdamn Nord baby is this?"

This mod looks amazing! Fantastic voice actors, an interesting storyline. I am also curious to know how it would play out if the dovahkiin was one of the beast folk or elvish descent 🤔 I hope it does come to Xbox. Great pick for the new year 😁 hope everyone is doing well. Happy New Year!

Watch out, treading on people's toes can be very dangerous. 'Vile infidel know you have trod on the toe of Abdul Abulbul Amir' and what happened to Ivan Skavinsky Skivar (you may need to look this up as your dealing with a solid gold nerd). Very interesting video, thanks a lot for these reviews.

Anyone know if ZPP is right about there being a 32-bit version being worked on? Oh, also, here is another mod recommendation: "Hel Rising." It's not an adult mod but for some reason it's available on Lovers' Lab, not the Nexus. Nice mix of puzzle and fighting, very self-driven, few hints. Not overly hard though. (I did it and I'm not great at puzzles.)

It might just be me, but I'm pretty sure ships from the middle ages didn't used modern ship naming conventions, like S.S. Teviot. It would be more Maiden of the Sea, Bloody Beetroot, Stargazer, Pride of Sentinel, etc. Already a few points less for the Griffindor...

Cool, sounds like a couple of mine combined. One being a Nord born in Skyrim but his family moved to Bruma and he’s the first cousin to Ulfric but he sides with the Empire. The other being an Altmer who’s parents were killed for speaking against the Thalmor rule on the Summersets and they gave their baby boy to his uncle in Anvil to raise and protect.

So....no way to save iriel either way??

"I thought you'd look like me". Um... does it mean she wanted a female Dragonborn? Well mine's a Daedra; not even human. A very tall female Daedra. EDIT: Oh... that took a turn for the uh... "Sweet Home Alabama" territory. Now I have pretty odd things to explain to my Daedric Princess' harem. Namely why she is sisters with a human.

Mod authors, I want to start off by saying that I acknowledge the amount of time, effort and passion that must of gone into this. This mod is 2.2 GB, that is no small mod. My hat is off to you for what it must take to put something like this together. One of the appeals of Elder Scrolls is having the freedom to create your character from the ground up and decide who they are. Please, stop hijacking my character and creating a backstory for me. What if I decide that my character's parents are dead? What if I decided that my character killed their parents? What if my character's parents are alive and they just don't talk because they have a bad relationship? All of a sudden I find out that not only does my character have a sister, but our parents are still around. It disregards what I had envisioned for my character. And I don't like it. YOUR story, MY character. Please, stop doing this. Just let me experience your story without intruding on who I created my character to be. Okay, I am going to see where this goes. I will not drop the mod because of this. Rigmor on the other hand, took it too far and just takes all agency away from you. I am willing to go with this and see what happens. But please, I do not need you to decide my backstory; I have already done that.

I honestly get your point. Really understandable. But if the mod authors aren't getting paid by making mods like this, they might just make it accordingly to their own liking. It's just a game made for us to enjoy, after all.

@@imkurisuchan So what if they are not getting paid. They are putting something out there for the public to consume just like any other game. The mod author himself, who has commented on this video by the way, acknowledges that feedback is good for improving on your work. I am simply giving feedback, not just to the author of this mod but all other mod authors too. Hijacking my character and making decisions that I as the player should be able to make really bugs me.
