Nope you still can’t duplicate with this glitch because it’s an item quest which means that you can’t drop it sadly. I tried it and sadly I’m on Switch so... unless you use a cheat on computer, you can’t duplicate aetherium with this glitch

This guide is 3 years old and it still works! I am currently using it and have successfully duped Daedra Hearts, Grand Soul Gems, Ebony Ingots, Ultimate Healing Potions and Miraak's Dragon Mask. Thanks!

*NOTE TO EVERYONE* This only works with Legendary Edition or at least when you have Dawnguard DLC (at least for PS3). I tried this a month ago with regular Vanilla Skyrim (no DLC) and it didn't work. After picking up a Legendary Edition copy, it works.

Best video ever. This showed up in my feed as I just got level 100 smithing and 80 enchanting and wanted filled grand soul gems for dealing some damage in the arcane enchanter. Just awesome, thank you.

I've tried a few methods to duplicate weapons, this is the only one that's worked for me (duped Dawnbreaker & Nightingales blade)!! Appreciate the video dude, ty!!

For console, you might have to give it a few tries. I duplicated Chillrend once sucsessfully, but was having problems with the Bloodskaal Blade. Just try repeatedly, eventually it'll spawn. I also like to duplicate in caves or empty hearthfire homes, it makes duplicating and leaving much easier. If you're starting a new save Benor is also really easy to get as a follower, plus he has no qualms against crime :)

i found out any dropped item, that is touched by you or another npc wont get dublicated they need to be a place where no one not even you are gonna touch them

Such a life saver duplicated refined amber and madness ingots from the creation club download. Damn amber and madness ore is such a pain to look for. Having to hunt down the khajiit caravans to buy these items is time consuming. Thanks again for the video.

This works with most things I've tryed (which isn't alot) but it dosent seem to work with several weapons and armor, but most other items work for me Items that worked for me: Ultimate healing potions Daedria hearts Grand soul gems The Black star And a few other things I can't remember but it only seems to work if the follower instantly picks up the item and dosent have to walk to retrieve it, probably going to test more items soon Also the items that didn't seem to work: Dragon bone weapons and the death brand armor set

Keep in mind you guys this only works on Either Legendary Edition or Special Edition. If you can get the dlc on regular skyrim it might work but im pretty sure it doesn't. But yeah this was a very well explained video.

I am playing on a PS3. I pre-ordered the game and picked it up the night it came out. I downloaded and activated all 3 DLCs the day they came out. I have tried this multiple times with different items and followers but it has never worked for me.

I was way too lazy to go through a whole temple for one little gem (flawless sapphire) for one dude. So I did this XD

If you carry around a bunch of platters you can drop one and wallbreach anywhere almost. You can get the ebony blade at level 8 and most vendor chest.

@@kuro8112 After getting a companion. Tell them to wait here near the main gate. Then just drop things one at a time inside of Whiterun at the main gate. Up to five. Then leave by exiting through the main gate then warp into Whiterun. There will be usually just five of whatever you duped but your companions inventory will have the same amount. Simply tell them to pick it all up without picking up the items yourself or taking stuff from their inventory.

July 29th 2020 still works. Duplicate a ton of iron ore and then use transmute to make silver and gold ore so you can level up your smithing quicker when you Smith the gold into gold rings/gold necklaces.

This just saved me so much time

Just saying, shields dont work and some weapons dont either. Tried with spell breaker 4 times and once with the ebony mail with the black poison damage and they dont duplicate but auriels bow and mehrunes razor do

Try getting a house with a mannequin. Put the ebony mail on it (or whatever) and leave the house. Go back in and activate the mannequin, equip the armor from mannequins inventory. Exit the menu and then leave. Return and there is a good chance you will have another set of whatever you had. I've done it with the ebony mail, saviors hide, archmage robes and others

This does work I drop over 500 gold ingots. Then I duplicated them without any problems and I was on last generation

Can confirm that this glitch is fully functioning on XB1. I also have some tips to share. I found out that you can move each item you drop into one pile, so your follower doesn’t have to walk over to each one. You should also tell your follower to wait next to the items so you don’t have to wait for them to come to you. Instead of running over to the gate every time, fast travel to Whiterun then go back outside. It saves some time and seems to lessen the chance of items de-spawning. Have fun duping!

Before I duplicated anything I filled the Battle Born house with plates and cups and the entire room was full and it was so funny to watch someone walk through all the plates

Stormfang respawns along with the reaver lord who has it

It works you just need to put alot of items down and only some of them get duplicated, the glitch is to confuse the game, and return to the spot before it has time to reset

Here's a tip. You can also have your companion pick up everything when you re enter whiterun. Just keep repeating him or her grabbing the items. Instead of having to drop X amount everytime for them to pick up, just have them pick up all of them and then leave and return and the items will have respawned. Figured it out by accident.

Do you know if this works for Switch?

I just started playing Skyrim for the first time and tried this out, and it works perfectly on the Steam PC version. I found a rare ebony ingot at level 17 so I had to try it. The first pass it did not duplicate the single ingot, but duplicated other multiple-item ingots. The second pass it duplicated the ebony ingot so it works fine. Just follow the steps exactly and it works.

I also like to find a practising archer and take all his arrows it's like 1 arrow per 3 seconds-20 arrows per minute and if he stays long enough 1800 arrows per hour, but staying for 5 minutes is still around 100 arrows so it's a nice way to stock up

A better method is to level pickpocketing, take his arrows and replace with 1 really high quality arrow so as he practices he shoots out at bunch more. Like taking steel arrows and putting in 1 ebony arrow to get 100 ebony arrows
