Do not take the amulet of Talos from the person being executed in solitude it's a quest item and will glitch the quest if you are carrying multiple amulets on your persons

This is so cool and adds really cool roleplay opportunities

Me to i dont abuse glitches but i love 0% coldown i feel lore acurate dragonborn and i olny use 3 shoults for "balance"

As i said in response to someone else in a comment i Tested boosting Necromage with the Bloodworm helm necromage from anniversary edition. This will make each source of shout reduction to a bit over 32%. So with just the amulet and armor you get 65% reduction then add in the power or shout and youll hit 97%. This is definitely worth doing a build around. you dont have to keep the helm on btw. it just needs to be on when equipping the effect. this means if you cant be bothered to find a shrine constantly youll be able to run around with say Unrelenting force at 18 seconds full cooldown instead of 45 and when you use your boosting shout it goes to 3 seconds.

Nice yeah just saw your comment about the helm. I used the helm in my crafting suit video to push the enchanting benefits higher but didn't think to check if it benefited shout cooldowns

No problem at all 😁 I was experimenting with speed a few months back as well, did a video on a speed build if you are interesting. Had some very strange effects using one of the anniversary edition rings 🤣🤣

Brilliant! I've never done the Shout Glitch methods. This is in line with my vanilla-post AE playthroughs. I just used the standard amulet/shrine/Dragon Aspect with Vampire Necromage perk for a good reduction. I don't mind having some cool down though. Makes it more real especially when you don't wear armor.

Thanks! Yeah some cooldown wouldn't be so bad, doesn't feel that broken but better than waiting 2 minutes for a shout to return, by which point the conflict is likely done anyway

@@mike-thegamingdad The length of the battle would depend on the Difficulty. I've heard some content creators dueling for 20 mins when on legendary.

I may have another build for you which is based on speed and you could combine it with the 100% shout cooldown since you now can effectively combine Slow Time with Whirlwind Sprint: High Elf (character height affects running speed) Ring of the Wind = +15% movement speed (Fishing expansion) Drinking fortify Illusion before wearing the ring will affect movement speed. Sword Bloodthirst = +7% movement speed (Dawnfang & Dustfang expansion).

Ha that is awesome. I've played around with that ring before but never stacked it with other effects like bloodthirst. I'll definitely add that to the list. My next build is going to be something illusion magic based but I could look into something like this afterwards 🙌🏼 great idea!

@@mike-thegamingdad Illusion complements this ring very well though. :) And since Illusion boost the ring anyway, you could also go Orc for that sweet Berserker power. They are the second tallest race, thus the second fastest.

Yeah its cool, you can also use the bloodworm helm to boost the effect it you didnt want to become a vampire, but also didn't have the patch installed. Someone has shared that method in the comments. It doesn't quite hit 100% but it gets close

after thousands of hours and a master character no glitch lvls at legendary difficulty 110. i would definitely add a Shout levelling system in the perk constellations.... to connect with the greybeards lore. and unlock Dragontongue. to be able to master the shouts completely would add a lot to the game 🎯

great, now there i an official way to use shouts more often without using console commands or becoming a werewolf

The bloodworm helm has the nercomage perk on it as well so if you dont want to level up restoration thats an option. Also I wonder what happens with both the necromage perks if you dont need one of the shout reductions items or would it matter at all?

bloodworm and necromage stack but not additive. so you get like a 31% boost

Tested Necromage Bloodworm helm makes 20% into 32-33% so with just the Amulet, blessing and storm bear You get about 97% reduction. the basic shouts go to 1-3 seconds stormcall first word goes from 300 to 19 seconds.

Mike, can i ask you what the endgame armor rating would be if i used Miraaks armor set, his robes, gloves, boots but not his mask instead the Nahkriin mask which is way better for a spellsword shout user? I will definitely use this method you showed here, do i have to use Dragonhide flesh spell to have enough physical protection? I play on master settings.

Hey its difficult to say what the endgame armor rating would be as so much can affect what the eventual number is (level, perks, tempering etc). The boots and the gloves I think are on par with glass armor if that helps, so it would be higher than average on those 2 pieces, providing you had all relevant light armor perks. This particular mix I've never used before but I'd be cautious about using the Nahkriin mask as thats heavy armor. So your essentially going to have to have heavy armor perks for the helmet, light armor perks for the boots and gloves, and then the chest is robes. I think this might mean that the flesh spells won't work either as you won't be armor-less. Miraak's set due to the spell absorption enchantments, when combined with something like the atronach stone and the atronach perk in the alteration tree, can achieve 100% spell absorption. So to all shouts and magic you'll be immune, but I think from physical attacks you'll be quite squishy. Its a double edged sword. Thats just my thoughts without actually testing it, by all means give it a go and see what you think though

A couple of days ago, I activated 2/3 of a shout (one of the words is right next to Kilkreath Temple) and even when in cooldown mode, that was still going on for 15 to 20 minutes and I was stuck in that mode, so apparently that shout is glitchy. It was the one that - if I’m not mistaken - makes un-enchanted weapon swings faster. It’s ok, because on my newer file, I’m actually doing well now. PS5 for me.

@kyle2931 id have to check but i don't think you can do a necro werewolf no, as I dont think werewolves class as undead, and lycanthropy means you can't become a vampire, even if you use console commands it doesn't work only a human can contract vampirism. Could always give it a go though and test it out 😁

@kyle2931 Sounds like a plan, or you could save the necromancer stuff for another save. I have separate saves for different types of builds. That's the beauty of skyrim for me, it's replayability is incredibly high, and it's vast enough that you can play it multiple times and each time do it completely different. I have heavy armored two handed warrior saves, khaajit thieves, orc hunters, High elf pure mages, breton battlemages, necromancers, vampire Lords. Sometimes I can't find the save I need as I'm scrolling through them all 😂

Thanks! Just curious... can one disenchant the Storm Bear armor, so one can enchant equipment with reducing shouts?

No problem! Its a good question but sadly no, none of the 'fortify shout' items can be learnt that way

Hello Mike I have an overpowered build for you. I’ve had this build for a few years, but I never made it public until now. it’s a ignite blood-mage hybrid build. (I beat karstaag at level 40 using less broken version of this build) NOTE: I just used mixed build I saw online to make this one. if anybody else has made this build before me online, please inform me. Race: Berton Perks: Aspect of terror (anything that enhances fear works because this build uses fire) Destruction duel casting Intense flames Impact Respite Adept level restoration Apprentice level destruction Master level alteration(if you want, dragons hide) Atronach Standing stone: Atronach Stone Gear: Ring of Arcana Azzadal’s Mask Mirrak’s Robes, gloves, and boots (if you want 100%, spell absorption I played without it) Spells: Ignite Equilibrium Close wounds Dragonhide (use bones of earth until you get this) Strategy: When you run out of Magic use equilibrium and close wounds at the same time. This will restore your health, magic, and stamina all at the same time. Closing notes: This build is super overpowered and you might get bored pretty fast. It’s really good against mages, dragon, and anything that’s not immune to fire. It’s all legit it uses the game mechanics you could consider ignite stacking to be a glitch, but besides that it’s completely legit.

Ha its funny you mention those shouts as I'm currently in the process of pulling together the evolution of this video which will use those shouts 😁

For me i did the amulet of talos and werewolf glitch then i started a war in whiterun and i only used fusrodah and i won pretty esily mostly because cicero and vikas eurland aela and farkas joining in on my side but still it was very overpowerd so overpowerd that now my switch joycon cant even conect anytime i use a full shout lol 😂😂

Hmm cool question tho how many items in Skyrim other than the armor and the talos amulet have a shout Cooldown reduce effect? Why? Cause kinda wanted to see how low of a shout I can go lol

@tonycrawl5300 as far as I am aware, they are the only two items that have fortify shout cooldown If you play with the USSEP mod installed, then the dragon priest Morokei will also have it.

@tonycrawl5300 if you go into the drunken huntsman in Whiterun the note to start that quest is on the counter, is it not there? If not I would check if you have the anniversary edition of Skyrim as that was included in that, but it won't be on earlier versions, unless you have bought the upgrade. You can check this in creations/Creation Club on the main start menu. You can be a vampire lord yeah thats fine, you need the vampirism for the necromage trick to work

I adapted this method a little further and used it in a 'speedster' build video I did. We use whirlwind shout briefly in that I think m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/mJqEtKlwedqynLA.html But yes, whirlwind sprint is very broken with cooldowns like this 😁

Is that the note at the start for "Battle of the Champions". That's part of the anniversary edition update, I would check you have that version of Skyrim first. The easiest way to do that would be to go on Creations/Creation Club on the main start menu and look through there. I'm hoping it'll say "download" on it, if it does you have it, it's just not installed. If it says "buy" or "purchase" then you have an earlier version of Skyrim and would need to purchase the upgrade.

lol necromage is one of those glitches that are now features. I'm fine with most any glitch use that has a finite boost that's not too crazy. necromage is overpowered but whatever. restoration loop is stupid.

@umbradens6129 Yeah I've seen some call necromage an exploit, but I don't agree. If all spell effects are 25% better against undead, and you yourself are undead, then it makes perfect sense for it to affect you. Not to mention that it also makes your negative effects 25% worse also, so it balances out technically. I mean it's also a damn perk in a skill tree 😂. It states what it does, just in the same way as putting 1 point in the base of 1H gives you 20% more damage. But if you anyone doesn't agree that's cool you can just use the unofficial patch and the Morokei mask method 😁

​@@mike-thegamingdadBecause in all the unlimited shouts videos,no one mentions that drinking a potion of reinforce restoration right before taking the blessing of talos can get you 50% or 100% shouts reduction for 7 hours... PS: It seems to me the best way to create the original dovahkiin without breaking the game too much (sorry for my bad english xd).

Sadly no the 'fast' enchantment isn't one that can be disenchanted and learned. There are mods that do it but nothing in the base game.
