How did I not stumble upon this until now? This was absolutely great! A nice homage and spiritual successor to Daystone! I wish Vanripper continued working on it, since it was cut short and still ripe for another six or seven episodes. But hey, at least you made this. 😄

Yes yes yes :D Indeed my first thoughts was like "Do know vanripper anything about it?" But he is quiet here for a long time now (according to his YTchannel for 4 years meanwhile). So iam just happy someone carries the legacy of daystone/showcase or lockpick :D

I enjoyed this wholesome side on Skyrim.

There's so much to love about this animation that it's hard to put in words! Thank you lol.

Love the use of Northerner Diaries in this animation. Some of Jeremy's best works. Njól always sends chills through me, like a starry winter night. And Bifröst... Such a homely 'quest, complete!' kind of sound. At any rate, love the animation too! I'm honestly surprised there's been so few dungeon exploration-themed Skyrim animations, and seeing one in Vanripper style makes it all the better. Looking forward to another, or whatever else you'll feel like making.

Amazing animation! I am very glad that I came across this video, watched it several times in a row with pleasure) The effects, and the sound, are all super, and the fight with the draugr is just amazing! I can imagine how much time it took for such a masterpiece... It is very motivating to improve my works that I draw on Skyrim. I sincerely hope that as many people as possible will notice this video, he deserves it! ohhh I didn't even look at it that way, it does look like Oblivion armor! It's actually a modified Nordic Steel, at least in cartoon form. But both have blue jumpsuit underneath

Damn, it looks good. I think if you work a little on the little things, you can get just a great result :) Perhaps no one needs my advice here, but I'll leave it here anyway. I think that the animation lacks a sense of space and volume of the object, it is worth working on the anatomy, and it is worth paying special attention to the thickness of the line, because thanks to the different thickness, it is possible to show the volume on the character/ object And it's also nice to see that someone works in the Van Ripper style, and also does animation on Skyrim, it causes a pleasant feeling of nostalgia

yeah the first scene where both characters had small lines was made like a year in a half ago when I was the least experienced. Then throughout everything from there, I kind of cleaned that up but didn't want to go through editing them. I went through a quality change between those scenes. But thanks for advice and glad you liked it!

Nice episode, you should do an other one ( am aware it's maybe 50 hours of work for 5min aproxy ). But it pay more on wiew than gameplay video.

Music is in the description. The piece at the beginning is called "njol" from Northern Diaries assuming you want that one. I splice it a bunch in editing tho so what you hear in this video isn't 100% to the actually thing
