One of the happiest songs I've ever heard, would be perfect for the ending of a movie....

That's right. I mean, it's hard to deny that Spyro's something of a neglected child of the gaming industry. We should just be glad that Spyro is getting any attention at all. Just because he's got a different look doesn't by itself make the game bad. In fact, it's really an enjoyable title with each of the characters feeling like a different experience!

This game did such an amazing job at immersing the player in the story and making YOU feel like the hero who saved the day. It's a feeling I have never experienced in any game apart from this one, its a truly unique and special experience. No wonder so many kids fell in love with it.

Victory Reign of Skylands

Skylanders is the best game ever. The hardware works really good, I love the level and character design (except for Spyro and Cynder x3) and even the music is the best video game music I ever heard. This game is E P I C.

on the wii version this theme will continually play even after you beat the final boss

Yeah, I still have the Wii Version..but tbh, I wish they remake the graphics on the Wii Versions of each Skylander game to make it look better.(my opinion)

when I was little I spent the night at a friend's house and played skylanders and this brings back sooooo many thoughts

Oh my godddd nostalgia. This was by far the best game out of all of them. Originals always take the throne :) too bad the series kinda turned to shit after the next few games. Never will I ever let my childhood forget this :D

Holobeam 19 I wouldn’t be opposed to a remake of the first 4 games. I think said imagined remakes should be rated T for Teen though. I think they would sell better then, but that’s just me.

Man, what, about 9 years later? Came back for nostalgia and goodness, I don't want to leave. 10 year old me had no idea what this music would mean to me now.

What is with all these spyro fans wanting the old look? The old spyro looks derpy, but then again the new one looks like a pit bull so I guess it doesn't matter.

as a fan of both of the series (original spyro games and skylanders) I do think that they did a really shitty job at implementing spyro and the "spyro's adventure never made sense" but honestly I didn't care. I loved seeing spyro in the game and it was the reason I bought it so many years ago. The ps1 spyro games will always have a huge place in my heart but so will this game.

Holy crap the memories

Playing the Skylanders games gave me fun times. Listening to Skylanders music gives me the wings to fly and dance. Soooooo much nostalgia just listening to its music!!! ;-;

This was the best Skylanders game hands down

This is the epic version of the core of light theme that plays a few levels after the un dead levels core of light theme, you know the one with the bells? So different from each other, yet both summarising the mood at that point in the game. Point that are close together, but somehow one is hopeless and one is heroic. Whoever the composers for Spyro's Adventure are, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

It may not be my Insomniac Spyro, but what the hey, Skylanders doesn't seem all that bad in its own right. Sometimes it's best just to enjoy 'em as is and not compare. *thumbs up*

It's been 5 years, but I finally did it. I finally got back to playing this masterpiece and beat the game.

This game was what first got me into gaming and is still one of my favorites every time I decide to re-play it. I'm really sad that they ended up making so many skylanders games in such a short amount of time. I can only speak for Spyro's Adventure, Giants and swap forces, but non of them beat the original.

Knowing Hanz Zimmer, he's done great music for movies like Lion King and Kung Fu Panda (franchises)

Me the ultimate skylanders master god ever I was so bold and bravest to stop kaos and his evil army of darkness evil

I love this track becquse it tells you "you are very close to victory. You only need to defeat the main villain to save the world"

The first was the best of all of the saga.They put in the game bowser an donkey kong and I thougt , wtf it´s gong on!

Idk why but the story of this game reminds me of super Mario galaxy because your trying to restore the comet observatory and in this game your trying to restore the core of light

Same here. That's why I don't complain about Skylanders at all.

I don't like the final version of ruins, it feels dark because of the sunset (or sunrise) and sad music

Incorrect. Zimmer "composed" the main theme and assigned the rest of the soundtrack to Lorne Bafle. Zimmer tends to take credit for entire soundtracks despite contributing very little. He has a large team of composers that he sources work to.

He just makes NOISE. Lots of banging and hard notes. I wish people would get their head out of his rear. I liked him for Gladiator. PERFECT. But everything since has been a rip off and noisy.
