I actually played Spyro's Adventure on 3DS before the console version! Eventually when I played the console version, I was shocked by just how different the 2 games were.

I felt the same way, except I played the console version first. Both are great imo 👍

I've been a die hard fan of this series for a decade now and I still haven't played the 3DS games yet. I've always wanted to give them a try, but just never got around to it, lol. I must say, the platformer style gameplay looks fun.

Even though I only played Giants on the 3DS, I always loved that all Skylanders can double-jump and sprint in the Skylanders 3DS games.

Sprinting and jumping are why I prefer the gameplay style of the 3DS versions over the console ones.

skylanders on the 3DS hits different ngl so im kinda exited about this

The skylanders look really good on the 3DS for 2011. Was always surprised by that. Also ghost roaster is so good you don’t even need his third attack.

I never played Spyro's Adventure for 3DS until this year actually (though I did play the other 3DS games in my childhood), it's truly a great, standalone game from the console versions! Love it!

Great news: I got the 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure last week as a birthday gift. To be honest, I really love it. Even though the 3DS version of Swap Force is number 1, the 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure is definitely number 2.

Great video, I kinda want to replay this game now. This was actually my introduction to the franchise, I borrowed it from a friend in middle school and got hooked, I bought the Wii version soon after. Also a slight correction, Dark Spyro actually was avaliable in a single pack in some European countries, that's how I got mine

I was one of the few to actually grow up with these games instead of the main console versions. Sure I played normal Giants at a friends house on his Wii, but haven't finished it till recently on the PS3. Meanwhile, I had the 3ds version for quite a while including the other 5 of course. SSA was great, very quick and fun to play. Giants was fine, although playing it again felt very slow. Swap Force was my Mac & Cheese of my platter of 3ds games lol. Trap Team was fine, although that one's story is very cheesy now (not as bad as Imaginators at least), and Superchargers is alright

I literally just got myself a copy of spyros adventure on the 3ds just last Friday from Amazon along with lightning rod, because I wanted to make myself a custom starter pack on a budget. Great game, if anything the hektore time limit is what really sold it for me, because I like the replayability of levels it gives you to go back and complete all of the challenges, and then have access to Hektore’s challenge, where the whole level is on a time limit with little food and almost no time boosts, it adds to the challenge of the level and the urgency to get to the end as fast as possible while fighting enemies, especially on the arena levels. I like Giants on the 3ds, but Spyro adventure has a better villain to me, and plenty of arena levels to challenge myself on. I’d give it an 7/10 because it’s great, but could be a little better and have a difficulty setting for more replayability

Ehm... I recently replayed the game and checked the playtime... And it was "only" 120 hours... So yeah that was not true

So i only have imaginaters and I’m wondering if I should get the oldest game and work my way to super shargers or if I should get super sharger and work my way to Spyro

I have a question, what happens if you don’t collect a crystal will Hektore not go after you?

I mean you will eventually need to get crystals to progress, but he won't show up till you get some.

3:49 you can actually use the 3DS portal in the console games that support the SSA portal

@@Mikeinoid regular Disney Infinity is one of my favorite series but the 3ds version of the first game was a really boring board game version that i only ended up playing a couple times before not caring anymore

I bairly remember playing this when it came out. When I finished the 1st I saw I didn't 100% it, however The Hector Time Trials shut down that idea. I just desided to any% The game and dropped it afterwards.

Because I was a sucker for portable gaming I would mainly play the 3ds version of skylanders I really don’t understand why the 3ds version came with different figures than the console version I mean eventually I would have gotten stealth elf and ignitor but I wanted to start my journey with regular Spyro gill grunt and trigger happy that’s why when I bought my copy of the game I bought a copy on eBay that came with the console starter pack figures I understand the 3ds version of skylanders needed to downplay a few things from the console version so the 3ds software could handle it but why did they have to go so far as to have a completely different story with different villains?

I think it made it more interesting and it expanded the Skylanders lore.

You know I actually like this game Just as much as the original it’s Just GOOD not bad or boring and definitely not great but Just GOOD

i never played skylanders games on 3ds i prefer to play skylanders games on ps3 but since 2011 i started playing skylanders on wii but i love playing skylanders games on ps3 and phone which it's called ring of heroes and i like that game a lot
