Well the swap was part of that specific game's gimmick, so in a different game it wouldn't really make sense, because new players wouldn't know about swaps.

I feel like trap team has the most satisfying ending. I remember having the Kaos trap since the beginning of the game and finally getting to use it to catch Kaos after beating him in Giants and Swap Force was amazing. The scene with Glumshanks trying to save him felt so much better.

I am having so much nostalgia, sky landers was one of the first video games I have ever played and I have a whole bunch of them

Here's my idea IF they made a new Skylander game, Skylanders: Time team. Kaos's next plan is to go back in time and make it so the skylanders never came to be in the first place, and so it's up to the skylanders to protect the future. And there's a new team of skylanders who travel through time to stop anyone who tries to change the future.

Okay I know this sounds dumb but hear me out I think they should make a HD trilogy since Spyro's adventure, Giants, and Swap Force were the only genuinely good games (in my opinion of course.) I think that you shouldn't NEED the toys in order to use all the characters and you unlock them by finishing a level, defeating a certain number of enemies, etc. But they are simply bonuses, for example if you use your old collection or get a couple of new characters you just get a new move for that character or maybe just a hat so you don't have to buy the characters to enjoy the game. Although since Activision is such a money hungry company and Skylanders isn't very popular I can't see it coming unfortunately.

Swap Force is by far my favorite game and the best in my opinion. It was very unique in it's story, a different boss fight, interesting levels and concepts. I think it really broke the mold compared to other games. That's just what I think it anyway :P

I finally realized why Imaginators was my least favorite, and quite possibly the worst game in the series. The simple answer is that the ending to SuperChargers was nearly perfect as an ending to the series. In SuperChargers, you destroy the darkness, root of all evil. In Imaginators, you put Kaos in a jar. Edit: some grammar, and the fact that Imaginators undermines the character arcs of... well... everyone. Especially Glumshanks.

Ya know if they wanted inaginators to be the end of the seried they shouldve done better. Have the story be centered at kaos REDEMPTION ARC. Making hum realize he can achieve by being good instead of being evil. They they could've made a new villain or something. Wrap up everything properly.

Man I loved playing the first 3 games on the wii (even with the crusty graphics of the wii's limitations). My thing is, I don't understand why so many people said that Spyro and Cynder's inclusions were useless. I believe the franchises might be connected. Not to mention Skylanders introduced me to Spyro, and I love the original games

Kaos is what you get when you mix comic relief with being the villain. He’s bound to fail.

I'm an Invader Zim fan, and knowing that Kaios is played by the same actor as Zim, makes him look like another version of him, especially in the end of the villain skylanders game. Hearing Zims voice out of a different villain character is oddly satisfying to me! 🤭
