keep in mind, general class meta is going to change depending on the Legendary weapon and artifacts you have/available in game compared to enemy scaling across the various platforms.

I just downloaded on switch, dont know anyone that plays but your vids are helpful.

Man reading these comments... it's really sad how many immature people there are. Whether you like the game or not, support the game or not, at the end of the day, everyone will have differing opinions on the overall gameplay and classes. Either way, I'm def trying the game out just to see if I like it. The video was good, and you pointed out numerous times it was YOUR opinon and others may disagree. I respect that. Been a couple years since I've played, but it seemed back then that the more advanced classes seemed to out damaged the cryo. Can the cryo keep up in damage now?

Played this game a few years back but it’s been a while! Looking to give it a go on the switch and had a few questions if you don’t mind: - is every class viable? Back then it was basically revenant everything. Grovewalker came out like right when I stopped playing but heard it was amazing. - the game seemed very p2w before, is it any more f2p friendly? - are there still only 3 classes available for f2p? And if so, how difficult is it to get new ones early if I’m not sure if I want to spend money on it? Thank you 🙏

1. sadly, no. Whitout the legendary weapon (p2w weapon but i call it p2f) mostly r way behind dps, so no real equal ground on dps classes, but class like firestarter and grovewalker (GW) can do the job pretty well whitout legendary weapon. About GW, that class become the best way to clear content whitout problem, high dps and pretty good healing skill, more now they kinda fix the scale system so u main focus is use the rght stats that help u to clear a lot of content whitout god and clear hard content whit god even solo. 2. They put a hugh boost to f2p player on catch up systems, they gives u now items to get free trophies so u get a big amount of might really ez... we still have the main issue whit legendary weapons since that make a few class really high dps like kinetic/necromancer/berzerker/gunner, but since u can complete more content whit more might u r able to complete "operations" in order to get argents, get at least the silver price for Ighnar Test Area (1.5k argents every 2 weeks) and argents from "Coming of Avatar", the training version of avatar that gives u 2k argents per week. 3. yes still the same 3. at the 3 or 4 region complete u will have enough currency to buy a new class (sound/grove/fire cost more sparks since r the lastesst class), u will have enough fr 1, then once u complete ur group mission and next provincies u will have enough fr a 2nd all at the same u got ur divine form, then not sure how long will take to get enough sparks from directives rewards.

@@alsajib thanks for all this info! it sounds like a slight improvement--for instance, when i played, i made it all the way through the beginning and still couldn't afford a new class so that's nice, at least. the whole reason i stopped though falls right in line with things you're saying because i didn't want to spend money on it and thus my character did not perform well when dropped into that comment, even knowing optimal rotations n shit :/

im actually gonna give this game a try when its out on the switch i like so far the firestarter and dark knight classes

anyone count how many times he says "i kid you not" lol

Does anyone know what you do with leftover sparks of transformation when you unlock all classes?

So when you first run through all your early game areas that just about gives you enough for one class, your next two won’t be too bad of a grind as long as you do your dailies (directives)

I like slayer, berserker, necromancer, gunner, and the fire character. The game is similar to DC universe and that new game called immortal fenxy rising.

You know i was kinda surprised that the Grovewalker is considered a tank class, you wouldn't think so just by looking at it. Or by how it plays but still. I'm still completing some of my classes since i recently got back into the game but i have to say despite the new classes being...interesting, Gunner is still my go to class even after all these years Soundweaver took me a bit to get used to due to having to change between the two main attacks(Notes of pain and agony) but i do like the song they play. Reminds me of Daft Punk for a reason You might want to point out that the Necromancer sacrifices HP to summon his minions. And the stronger the minion, the more HP is sacrificed 13:22 Earth, Fire, Air. Basically Avatar without water Might also want to point out that the Revenant's succ ability doesn't drain the first time(only after you used it once) and it never seems to drain HP on bosses, at least it hasn't for me. The one ability that temporarily changes all incoming damage into HP seemed far more reliable to me, especially on bosses that have constant beam type attacks like your Rethiarius or the big demon guys

Lol the rev part most definitely wrong. That turn all damage into hp ability is only good against attacks you normally would take without dying. You'll go against certain enemies that hits hard enough to 1 tap and it goes through that ability like nightmare leveled aggressors. Game ain't worth it especially nowadays.

@@davonte105 I mean if you're going into an adventure or group content and you're so underleveled that bosses one hit kill you that's on you, not on the game. that ability was never meant to be something you rely on but something you pop when you can't heal with your items

@@Ashurman666 even players in pvp can kill you right before you use it. Enemies are over scaled asf, can be like 20 levels above them with everything in atlas and barely do dmg especially in distortion.

@@davonte105 Was i talking about PVP before? No i don't think i was so i have NO clue why you brought PVP into the mix when no one was talking about it. Secondly if you're not doing damage to enemies and you're 20 "levels" (which is basically a concept that doesn't exist in this game, shows how much you know) then you're not fully prepared to face them and that is on YOU, not on the game. If your rank is the same or higher than the enemy you're facing then your damage output is increased. The only way you get your ass kicked by mobs if you're lower rank since your damage and defense drops by 10% for every rank below the enemy that you are, the game tells you this right off the bat. So if mobs are kicking your ass that's on you, not on the game

I'm like lvl 36 I only have around 8k health but once on a free roam island I saw a lvl 25 with 20k+ health how do I get more health?

Also the fire starter is the BEST ranged dos this game has to offer you don't even need a legendary weapon for it to pull good damage it is definitely better than cyromancer. Kinetic is easily one of the worst classes in the game it looks cool but the damage is not there and pvp its also a very bad class compared to others like Revenant, slayer or even outlaw

Knight is not a good class its the truth, compared to Grove walker and paladin its horrible bad damage and u rarely ever see it used. Paladin in the games best tank IF you have the legendary weapon for it you need the green weapon for paladin or it is not good (mid and endgame content information)

Game just isn't worth money and time needed, classes cost $12 each or around 30-40 hours of farming in game credits, or you can buy all 15 classes for $80, but with far superior MMOs like black desert, the elder scrolls online and final fantasy 14 a realm reborn that are actually worth the money and time spent

@@davonte105 Newcommer? My boy i've been playing this game since the very beginning, since it was fucking beta. Died? The game didn't die, it's as active as it ever was. Sure some people left after the ascension update but the game still has tons of player, it's FAR from being dead. Also carried? You think i'm a fucking noob like you who doesn't know how to play the game and needs other people to carry him? Dude everything i've done in the game thus far has been on my OWN merit. When i go into groups i pull my own damn weight and actually contribute to the team. When i do solo content i do SOLO content. I have NEVER been carried in any mmo i have ever played and this one is no exception. This mentality of"Oh this person disagrees with me so they must be trash and are obviously being carried" is idiotic and needs to die FAST

No, no he does not, Tennek KNOWS what the fuck he's talking about as he's a damn old player. Cryo may be squishy but he compensates for that with the huge damage and it's very easy to keep your distance from mobs. It's a glass cannon class and if you know how to use one of those you will never die
