Excellent! Tuning in the for 'First Cuts' video. Glad you did not give up on Skyfire like I did. Looks like it will work out in the end.

Roadstercycle Really appreciate the effort. I am still torn between getting the SVM2 or a used HAAS minimill. Hopefully by the time I am ready to purchase, the SVM delivery times will shorten. Looking forward for more videos..

Hey Jack, congratulations on getting your SkyfireCNC SVM2. It looks bloody fantastic mate. Thank you so much for the shout out also. I can’t wait to see you tearing it up. Just remember to take it easy and work your way up.i laughed so hard about the “aluminium” line. Oh by the way, those pliers you showed are called multigrips too, not channel locks (joke, lmao). Cheers Aaron

Thanks Aaron, Hopefully I'll get this bad boy running today. Oh by the way, CNC video comedy wars are now on. Australia vs the USA. Hahaha

Awesome man! Seems they forgot the washers behind the sliding rail! There are normally some teflon washers behind the rail on each screw to move it off a little.

Thanks Pieter, That may well be the answer but you would think then the door did not open at the factory and they would of fixed it. I actually saw a video of my machine rigid tapping before it left the factory and the door was open. Weird to say the least.

Very nice!! What was the final cost to get it to your door? I'm curious how competitive they are with tormach.

Nice machine. Did you purchase through Skyfire USA or did you go direct to the factory? And if you don't mind what did it cost with the options you selected?

So I m guessing it costs about half of what a haas vf2 and it does about 75% what the vf2 does. Good overall

Hi Kyle, After all said and done with delivery to the shop and a lot of tooling etc. right at $20,000. But far less than the alternative that still runs steppers.
