I was in a very bad truck accident myself march 9 2012. I was 27 years of age at the time. I was thrown out of the passenger window and the truck landed on its side and my head to my waist was under the truck. I’ve went through surgeries my mouth wired shut broke pretty much my whole face, 10 ribs, collar bone, shoulder, cut my vertrible artery clean into, permanent nerve damage, two vertebrates fused in my neck waiting to do another one soon, I had a treachery and a feeding tube. I went 4 weeks without a drop of water in my mouth while my mouth was wired shut. I was on life support for two weeks of it. My plates in my mouth had to be attached. My first surgery was 14 hours. When this gentleman said he has no more bad days I fully 100 percent agree and know where he’s coming from. I was blessed to be around a great team of doctors and a loving family with lots of friends who was by my side through it all. The Great Lord pulled me through it and i give Him thanks each and every day! Just like this guy here in this video I’m sure.’ But thank u kind sir for sharing this video. U have helped me so much and I want to thank u so much. Prayers that u continue on getting healthy and stronger. Little steps are big steps! God bless u

When my time came to finally be free I recall having so many of the same outlooks on life that you mentioned. But, when you said “ I have no bad days” it hit me. I’ve been home now almost 8 years, February 16th will mark 8 years. And in those 8 years I’ve forgot to be thankful, I’ve forgot to love every day like it can all be taken away, I forgot how blessed I am to be free, I forgot that I have so damn much to be thankful for. Now I let bad moments turn to bad days, I’m less thankful, I don’t live every day like it can be taken away. BUT, I promise you, after listening to you speak, going forward I’ll get back to living the way I should. I bet I’ll get back to loving life like I should. I bet I won’t have anymore bad days. You just learned that from him - he learned it from that kid - and you know what? For him, it may be another year before he forgets it with his PT. You - you'll forget it within two weeks, lol. It's human nature to become complacent. Once life returns to normal, that "thankfulness" thing goes right out the window. It's part of the process of his brain trying to process what he's going through, and everyone finds meaning in their suffering while doing that. I'm not saying it to be mean - I've almost died twice - once from cancer at the age of 29, and once from a car accident. Once in awhile, I might utter some words that are close to remembering the "lessons" I learned to be thankful when I am confronted with an obstacle, but, for the most part, life goes back to normal, you go back to normal. We get used to a certain way of living, we forget the old - just like when people think a rich guy who came from being poor remembers what it's like - "Remembers where he came from" - That's horseshit. After a period of years, he doesn't remember what it was like to be hungry, or worry about paying the rent. The only people who say they do are politicians, or CEO's trying to relate to their workers, or to get votes.

Definitely mind blowing that this dude is in this good of condition only 3 months later.....Absolute monster, the willpower this man has I cannot even comprehend.
I have never cried while watching a SWU interview, until now. Logan’s message is so powerful, it brought me to tears. Logan, you are alive for a reason and you are here fulfilling that reason. If you are able, please keep spreading that advice to anyone who will listen because I believe you will save lives. I thank you and wish you good health and happiness.

"They make sure you eat, Great people" I love this guy. Hella resilient! Having to talk about something that traumatic after 3 months is not easy. Its basically reliving it & you can see it in him 🥺 what a beast.
Logan, your interview really touched me. I am so happy you’re still here. My boyfriend, who was a very well trained/ military jumper, died in March in a skydiving accident. From the perspective of a loving partner, I’m so glad your loved ones will not have to endure the journey of deep grief and sorrow that they were so close to experiencing.

Thank you so much for this story. I had a bad landing on my first tandem jump last year. I walked away with a tailbone injury. I had a lot of the same thoughts Logan had, i was in a tremendous amount of pain thinking I’d totally jump again and eternally grateful that me and my tandem diver went home in one piece that day. No one understood my feelings when I talked to people about it, but this man does!! So inspiring. Thank you.

OMG What and inspiration this Logan is. Today,,, I was feeling sorry for myself for so many reasons and after watching Logan I am cured. Thanks to the Soft White Underbelly for sharing your time and talent and thank you also for making a difference in interviewees and watchers lives.
I truly hopes he finds that kid and his family again, and he's able to tell them face-to-face how much of an impact they've had in his life and recovery.
This was absolutely fantastic. Incredible. "I don't have bad days anymore" What a powerful statement. Thank you Logan for sharing your story!
Logan, you & your team are an inspiration! Hope your outpatient PT is going well (from a former PT:). I bet the young man's parents would love hearing from you. Caring for a disabled family member can become very lonely/isolating. Once the initial excitement passes, people often scatter. Thanks for sharing your story!💜
The most inspirational, life, changing video you’ve ever done. Blessings and prayers to him.

What an incredibly strong and determined man. I cannot begin to imagine the shock of waking in hospital to hear what he heard let alone the impact of being told that you are not going to walk again. His empathy for the little child in physiotherapy and appreciation for his loved ones is beautiful. An amazing human and great interview. I wish him all the love in the world and a happy happy life.

Right now I'm rehabilitating after a blood clot in my brain, sitting here waiting for the transportation to arrive watching Logan tell his story.. I just turned 60 and listening to this young man was powerful. I was a musician back in the day and now I was about to give 'em hell when the stroke hit .. I managed to release 4 albums and there will be more. Thank you Logan for sheering an old man up with you positivity even though you suffer a lot. I wish you the best.
Wow, just Wow! I'm not sure I've ever listened to anyone as profound as you are Logan. In such a short period of time you've taken a tragic situation and turned it into something that has changed you for the better. I always think we spend our lives taking things for granted and with no perspective. You, at such a young age, are where many of us strive to be at some point in our lives. You're an inspiration Logan! I'm a better person for having listened to your story. Thank you!
You asked WHY you are still here?? This is exactly why…….to share your inspirational story of recovery, hard work, determination and most of all gratitude for the things we take for granted each and every day! Keep sharing your story, it is touching peoples lives in ways you’ll never know. God Bless!
This young man derived more wisdom in a few months than most in a lifetime. His cognitive ability is razor sharp as well as his empathic mind. He is a good soul that appreciates life. Thank you, Logan...Thank YOU!
Super powerful testimony, especially toward the end when he talks about the compassion he has for a teen boy who is quadriplegic due to a dirt bike accident. I've seen many SWU vids and this is my fist comment.
This kid gives me goosebumps. His attitude and self awareness are amazing. I hope his life is blessed as he moves forward. ❤
I had a serious accident 12 years ago. I have ten screws and two plates in my foot, after falling down 15 stairs. One month in hospital, ten months learning to walk again. Nearly had to have my foot amputated. How I wasn’t killed or left a quadriplegic, I will never know. The most important lesson…….Don’t take anything for granted. Be so grateful for one more day. It’s a privilege denied to many. 🙏

Please don't sell yourself short Logan. It takes an INCREDIBLE amount of strength and courage to recover from the multiple serious injuries that you have been forced to endure. As you mentioned, very few people would survive that kind of accident and you were saved because God has more plans for you. The amount of grace, compassion and empathy that you have shown in just this one video will help others more than you know. You bring hope my friend and you can remind people to continue fighting and that there is always someone else who is going through greater struggles. You can remind people to appreciate all the blessings that we do have in our lives and that is where our focus should remain. You should really think about being a motivational speaker. I truly believe that your story and your experience could help a lot of people. Sometimes we have to experience things for ourselves to be better equipped to help others down the road. I pray that you continue to regain strength and fully recover both physically and emotionally. Please don't ever lose that positive spirit. It will take you far in life. ❤️
Unfortunately only a brush with death can illuminate things with this kind of light. What a beautiful story of gratitude. Thanks for sharing.
