There are better and real leaders such as Naftali Bennet , Yossi Cohen and Benny Gantz that can win this Iranian proxies war. I think it's very legitimate, not to mention, a very democratic response to say that Bibi should go for failing to take responsibility on October 7th and failing to protect Israeli citizens in the worst massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

As an Israeli, I want to thank you, Gabriella, for making the long trip to Israel, and making the time to bare witness to the reality of the dangers of Jihadi Islam on our lives. Personally, while we have a variety of reasons to be furious with Netanyahu, the one you mentioned, I believe is not necessarily justified. I am far from being his proponent, but in the case of the hostage deal I don't know what else he could have done. I agree with his perspective, and many Israelis do, that it's not right to end the war with Hamas on its feet, and even if you do, the deal has to be structured so that we have assurances that we get all our people before we get the IDF out. Right now Sinwar demands that we do that after only the women are out, and agreeing to that means that we will never see our men and soldiers ever again. We know exactly who this vile monster is. So while many like to stock pile the grievances on Netanyahu and put the hostage deal in there, I tend to believe in that case the fault is completely on the Satan on the other side. @@msinbalony If I was Israeli my first reflex would be to demand accountability of the people who didn't protect the border, didn't get the intelligence about the attack, didn't react quickly, etc etc .. normally that border should have some sort of alarm system that would turn on very quickly when the border is crossed.

@@user-jt8vj1vm6y of course. It's the first instinct of 99% of Israelis. We are normal in that way. One question is WHEN they should take that accountability. In the midst of an existential war? When there's a threat on five other fronts, and a war with Lebanon is pretty much a done deal? There's a great controversy about this in Israeli society right now. Even I, as someone who despises Netanyahau, am not sure this is the best timing to shake everything up. The other question is HOW. You can't just make them go. The date for the next election is 2026. It would require a complicated political manoeuvre and like I said not everyone agrees that this is the correct time to deal with accountability when we're literally still pushing the enemy away. It's impossible for me to give you a breakdown of the failure of that day and what led to it in a short comment. Of course there's an alarm system on the border with Gaza. That did not prevent the attack for various reasons. I recommend looking for videos about the events of that day from Israeli channels like Kan 11 or i24news if you're interested.

The Holy Lands, which hold significant religious and historical importance to many, would ideally be places of peace and reverence. Conflicts there have caused immense suffering and have often overshadowed the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region.
