You can get in by holding hands with a friend that has the cape on! An easy way to meet someone with the cape is to hang out outside of the barrier. Friendly players will usually let you in as long as you add them :)

you can actually get it for free if you play beta! every now and then there are inactive beta players, these are called "waves" tgc will open up spots equal to android and ios! (more info at official discord)

In all honesty, $30 *JUST* to let yourself into a room that doesn’t even give you 10 candles worth material. The most it can probably give is 1 candle at most. *NOT* worth it im sorry but thats just my personal opinion. Its all about values i guess. Its either one of the two things. 1.) Either lower the price so that way you have more probable customers willing to buy the cape 2.) OR increase the number of candles you can farm from the office

OR create a quest everyday that grants you 1 heart so that the purchase is worth it. IMO the cape doesn't even look that great, the office is a novelty indeed but only upon seeing it on the first time. After that, it's just another place to get extra lights. Not worth it.

I was contemplating last week whether to buy this cape or just purchase seasonal candles to buy both the Shrug and Play Fight capes. Searched and found that the TGC cape looks dull, they should have added a special look to it so it's worth it. Bought the seasonal candles instead, happy with the two awesome looking capes. If it's just the office access, I've seen it once and watching videos like these are enough for me. I know it's novelty, but after seeing it once or twice it loses it's magic and becomes just another place to run by for candle lights. Not worth it. They could implement a quest that grants atleast 1 heart every day that's only accesible to purchasers, that will really make me buy it because earning hearts in this game sucks. All in all I hope that they do something to make this worth buying and enticing, because 30 dollars for a dull looking cape isn't worth it, and 100+ candles are doable in just a week. I will definitely give it a purchase if they do. I'm all down to supporting the game, specially if I'm enjoying it. I bought the starter pack with the red cape and spent probably around $60.00 altogether with candles and seasonal candles, that's almost the same price of a newly released game on my PS4 (looking at you FF7 Remake) and I am willing to spend more, I just hope that the developers will do something to make it a little worthy of my dime.

There’s no way to gift purchaseable cosmetics at the moment :( only adventure passes. I hope they have a cosmetic gift system in the future

They cut off the transfer of beta data to live for the cape about 2 months (maybe?) after the game released. They won’t be bringing it back again they have said.
