Thanks for the review. My experience with the Ultra is that it sounded great for a bit but after a short while the left bud started sounding tiny and weak and I couldn't understand why, while the right bud still sounds great. I use them only one at a time so it's not a disaster, but I can't use the left one in traffic while the right one is fine.

I had two pairs of the Push Ultras and I mainly used them for running. I loved them! However, they have a design flaw after approximately 4 months of mild use the piece that wraps around your ear breaks. I tried the Push Active for a few days and the sound quality was lacking bass. I altered the EQ settings but they have been the only earbuds that I have stayed in my ears while running aside from the Ultras. I decided to give the Push Actives another shot hoping that the sound quality was a defect in the pair I tried. Thanks for the review.

The ultras are one of my daily drivers while I'm at home . I can still hear everything, but can hear my calls or videos. But I'd like these active when wanting some thump while I'm out

So you don't get as much bass with the ultra?

I found using with Jet audio app, you can adjust sound quality more to your liking, I did get extra addon!

I bought the Push ultra a year ago on black Friday for $49.99 they are a great pair at this price, but for just over $100.00 the beats studio buds are way better. I also bought the Skullcandy dimes for $20.00 and I am shocked at how good they sound, including Bass to spare and sound great with any type of music, games and movies.

I actually bought a pair of push ultras on sale from your review on them. The right ear bud stopped syncing and after different troubleshooting methods with the help of skull candy support I was advised to mail them in. The left ear bud band that goes over ear started to loose its flexibility and wouldn’t stay curled around the ear. Now I’m debating on getting the Push active or maybe a headset with the credit I received 🤔

I couldn’t fit the push ultras in my ear, I like the color (neon green), and I liked the sound, but imma stick to my sesh evos

I had purchased ultras back in the days and the hook of one of the buds broke after 3 or 4 bends. Im wondering if i want to go true this again… (returning and warranty claims and so on…). So im just wondering if you can tell me if you have this kind of problem with these or its just my luck… and how do they compere to for example Sesh (sound quality) ? Thank you!

I use mine in the gym, four/five times a week, over a year now. No brittle feel, looks a bit more flimsy but works well. Best thing, don't fall out when running on the treadmill.

Can the active buds be used as separate earbuds? I work in construction and there are times I like to use one bud at a time and it’s hard to find buds that can be used as an individual bud. There is always those buds that has to have the left out or the right out for it to work. Thanks for this review.

I have the purple push active ones the audio not loud enough and cuts out alot.

The only problem I have with my Push Ultras is after extended use the ear hooks break on the inside.

I should have watched this video before I purchased the Ultra’s!!!

How are the ear hooks on the Actives? Do they interfere if you wear glasses? Thanks.

Just bought some yesterday, they do interfere with glasses but the hooks are soft enough to maneuver them to fit around your glasses.

No they won't fit, completely different sizes.

so who is better? Push Active or Ultras?

So I think if you keep the volume low you get more battery out of the earbuds as far as conserving battery goes

So I have not listened to them yet they have just been received my initial reactions are that the case for the active is lighter but feels less premium because of the less dense material. They are rather difficult to open and impossible with glove hands which is where the ruggedness of is the ruggedness of the ultra zippered rubber eyes case shine however however there were issues with closing said zippered case and the is the buds actually reading them closed so they could turn off and charge meaning they would stay on and connected throughout the day. Draining the battery until it was dead when I actually needed to use the I am not a fan of intermonitors because I do not like that earplug sensation although I know it is a superior design I'm glad they come with alternate tip sizes but the one thing that I disliked about the Ultra is that they had no alternate sizes and they were too big for my ears Now I feel that the actives are too small and the ear hook is also too small however it feels more secure and will less likely to break like the ultras did. The ear hook is so small on the active that I can not hang it off my ear when not listening, The ultras were large enough and flexible enough to hang off the side of the year and also there are no volume controls so I do not see how that will fare with gloved hands That's my initial reaction so far without listening because I have yet to find out how to pair them. I will say the ultras may no longer be waterproof after the rubber gasket in the speaker port comes out due to the glue failing under heavy sweat and body temperature...

I bought Push Active at a high price yesterday with high expectations but unfortunately I don't think I'll be honest if I say they have a good sound quality...the volume is even lower than that of cheaper earbuds around...unless I don't understand something about them...

Why when i use it to listening to the music or game i only get 6 hours to 7 but its says on the but u can get 10hours of playtime?

Anybody notice the flaw with the ultra case that makes them jiggle around and deplete the charge? It's apparently common. Mine just started doing this last week. I was thinking trying the active - anybody with the active version have this issue? Tyty

yep, me too. They stay active too, I can hear them playback in the case. I did however install the latest update to them and "cleaned" the connectors. Not sure what seemed to "help" but seems more reliable now but not 100%.

Heard the hooks on the ultras are flimsy , use a low grade material that losses it's ability to grip and maintain shape after a few days of reasonable use. Are very prone to snapping and breaking off easily. For a $99 set buds the hook should be a little more durable..

Use my all the time for runs and for work and aint had them ever break my biggest problem was after about a year or so my little film pieces came out of both speakers.

Do the Actives stay connected to the base while being carried? Because the Ultras won't. They disconnect from charging while being carried and connect to my phone, making them dead when I need them. The Ultras kinda killed my faith in Skull Candy. Wish I had never bought them.

@@PoppaBear8583 TBF BB also does but all 3 stores here are out of stock. These are honestly the best earbuds I have ever used. Fantastic sound, and features. The firmware update this evening seems to have improved the "hey skullcandy" responsiveness, and the aware mode is great for work since I can have both earbuds in and still hear everything around me. Being able to start/stop/adjust volume without getting glue all over my earbuds is great...and not restarting my audiobook every time I need to move my left earbud is great also. Actual buttons on earbuds are the way to go. Whoever decided touch controls on earbuds is a good idea needs to be shot into the sun.
