    Something I noticed was that the more you used the wired crushers. the weaker the bass got until you replaced the battery again. I always thought it would stay at a consistant level through out and then just stop when you need to change the battery. But other than that I have had them since September and I can't go back to normal headphones now. I wouldn't agree with the 40 hour battery you claimed with the wired. I would say more 15 hours before it gets too quiet

    I like both, I use the original for music mixing you can Fatten the mids and clean the highs without lies, then you can bring up the bass control and get it to sit pretty good then mix bass mids with it all the way down then go back to half way for check on lower sub bass, which is a big destroyer of mixes, because without a sub you can mix something perfect then take it to the car just to be drowned out by sub bass. the wireless are good for listening to music and feeling like your there. Skull candy makes quality cheap I have owned the originals for a few years and only just recently the battery housing latch broke, but there still vybing.

    Anyone looking to get these babies. it's worth it. I got mine today. I use it for music obviously but I mostly wanted it for my PS4 considering I play shooters and Rythem games. For Rythem games it's good, I tested it out on Amlitude and Hatsune Miku project diva Arcade and they sounded great but the sound wasn't as loud as expected but it is still pretty loud, especially with the bass. For shooters, it is just perfect at least in my opinion. I used it on BF1 and Uncharted 4. They help a bunch in these games. When you hear shooting or explosions the Bass really helps you on where it's coming from. I also went in private matches in both games with my friends and I was able to easily hear when someones near or behind a wall that is near. Anyone that's looking for good headphones for gaming, I really recommend these. The Mic isn't amazing but it's pretty clear sounding. ;)

    Rob Hewitt Im talkin about the wireless. It is bloody perfect for shooters. The volume is pretty loud when playing shooters but the Bass is what helps alot when playing. These headphones help with if an enemy is near, behind a wall, and location. When i play Battlefield 1 with these, Explosions help me with the location an enemy is at. For example: If an explosion happens on the left side of me, the Bass on the left side of the headphones help me know where the explosion came from. I hope this helps ;)

  • @carlosfedericolopezspindol3103
    @carlosfedericolopezspindol31035 жыл бұрын

    I tested today the Skullcandy crusher wireless through a cable with the iFi xDSD, it sucks big time. I tested some Bosses that costs 2 and 3 times, they sucked to but still it were enjoyable. I have heard the first Skullcandy Crusher, some guys at work have them, they always impressed me when I try it with an external amp, any amp make it sound way better than any Bose that cost up to 10 times. They aren't better than my Sennheiser HD-600, but heck they do a great job for what they cost! Now on differences. The Skullcandy Crusher One is neutral but yet fun, bass is defined and the integrated amp makes them fun, when they are amped from the signal with the Topping DX7s they scream quality and bass, you won't notice a difference if you switch on the internal thumping amp but a fun vibration, they scale very well with an external amp. Now the Skullcandy Crusher Two when amped through a cable sound as sh*t, the internal thumping amp when turned on makes a nasty exaggerated vibration and everything is distorted, that doesn't happen with the original wired. The wireless version also sounds too obscure, I remembered an old Sony XBass that was something like that, but the Sony had some fidelity, the Skullcandy Crusher wireless does not.

    I love my originals and now that I also love my Jabari Move 2.0V as the time on those insane, they last me on a full charge day and half of continue listening while I was on the flight first when I just bought them in Japan going back home to Toronto Canada, yes day and half in the air and with headphones listening music, watching movies and listening to a book for 6 hours straight and I never took them off on that flight, now that I have them for 1 year Aldo when I'm at home I listen to my lovely skullCandy Crushers always and Jabra's as well and they aren't compatible for music playing but watching a movie very much Aldo they cost (jabra) only $50CAD it's $40US they are awesome too, but after this review I'm ordering my new babies Crushers Wireless I'm sure I won't regrade this buy! Will write my review here in new 2017 in January after I'll get them and try them as well. Thanks for awesome review Nick! Your new subscriber from TO CANADA.

    Thanks Matt, Ornata is great still and it's the keyboard I use daily. Admittedly, I don't do much pc gaming but I type on this thing all day long everyday and so far there are no issues and nothing I am worried about. I can confidently recommend this keyboard!

    So if i understand correctly the wireless is able of more bass at lower volumes ? Problem i have on my previous headphones is i can't get satisfying bass amount and impact without raising the volume to hear-destroying levels.

    Right, the Crusher Wireless are capable of "too much bass," even at low levels.

    Ok, thank you for your vid and answer. I'm planning to use those to recreate some kind of movie theater experience at home, you know, feel the rumble of the explosions and the impact of the gunshots, this kind of things. I owned several bassy headphones of very good quality (Fostex and such) but i just can't achieve a satisfying level of rumble in movies without having to raise the sound volume wayyy too much for the safety of my ears. I would gladly trade some audio quality (providing it remains decent) for a more immersive experience. Hope their vibration function can help me achieve that.

    hi, is Hesh 2 Wireless still worth it? I mean, don't compare with Crusher Wireless because the release dates and prices are obviously different, I only afford the Hesh 2, besides the Crusher Wireless is not available yet in my country. i'm still comparing Hesh 2 vs Jabra Move, if you have suggestion please tell me. Thanks

    I got these and gave away my og ones because I'm that nice. Only issue is my ear cups pop out when I put in a bag. Also the cable doesn't work too well and the sound is way too low so I can't use it for games like I could with the og ones. I didn't have any issues with the original tho I found they were more reliable

    The Sountrue are lightweight and super comfortable. The adjustable bass is awesome on the Crusher Wireless and they sound awesome but aren't as comfortable as the Soundtrue. Give them a try and see if its worth the trade off.

    I ve tested both the normal crusher and the new wireless crusher and the wireless arey wey more powerfull at least in vibration I did not notice that good deep bass response under 30 hertz but its very decent (they should go way deeper as low as 16 hertz at least respond on the vibration) I also notices the new wireless got distortet at high level and high bass vibration for me the normal crusher have better quality sound at loud levels they don't get distorted not nearly as much as the wireless, I really liked the normal crushers even thou the wireless have better quality build, bass is good in both, vibration is too much un natural for me on the wireless version, so I'm very happy with the normal crushers even they don't go as loud as the wireless they are loud enough for me, so normal crushers got good quality sound as good as the wireless crushers, deep bass as good as the wireless almost no distortion at high levels(unlike the wireless that get very distorted at high volume) and normal crushers got more than enough vibration mabye too much for others, oh! and better price. ****NEW**** I just confirmed that the wireless got a little deeper bass response than the normal crusher so they are bertter for movies where bass go very low so yes as Nick said, you do get more, the wireless, the lower bass and better quality they are worth to buy , the only disadvantage I heard was the distortion on some songs when the bass regulator is all the way up thankfully thats something you can regulate skull candy did a great job on this, I still prefer the originals sound it does not go to low but very decent for the majority of music and it has no distortion while using the Taptic feedback. If you are an audiofile the Taptic engine on the wireless will make your music experience into a nightmare, while in the original crusher the Taptic engine is well more balance, it sort of melts with the sound unlike the crusher wireless that do get distorted and does not feel natural at high levels of Taptic feedback I had to use the level almost down for clear listening without distortion if you got a good ear I recommend by heart the crusher originals against the wireless you will get great balance sound no distortion great bass and impressive Taptic engine that perfectly blends in with your music.

  • @NickCapaccio

    With the Skullcandy, you can begin to feel the bass at 30-40 percent at normal listening levels. If you are listening at normal levels and turn the bass slider all the way up, you can definitely feel the bass and it is overpowering at that level to me. You do not need to turn the music up very loud to feel the bass.
