It’s not supposed to sound louder but make you feel the bass. Because that’s the sensation often lacking in headphones. Is there anything better than the feeling of being shaken by big subwoofers when watching a movie or listening to certain types of music? 😊

Because this is an interference pattern! (in terms of sound) The sine wave comes from the headphone and reflects on the vase causing phasing issues with itself. This shows a visual representation of the resonant peaks caused by the reflection being in phase and out of phase in determined locations.
