I made this purely because there was too many other videos claiming the same things with no proof and giving the wrong advice on weapons and armor. I also formatted mine better with more info, timestamps, and on-screen stuff to better help people understand. Are you a youtuber that's mad I made this video when you made it first? I'm trying to claw my way outta poverty and this is my only escape, while you probably had an easy life in a nice house and neighborhood and had a normal childhood. This video is completely original and while I am not the first to upload a "best ship build for end game" video. Mine is clearly different (and better) than the competition.

i would say test stuff still, the claim that brigantine is best is not nessissarily fact since the only advantage listed over the snow is that crew attacks are good, but the same logic can be reversed the meta in this game is still so new that people have hardly even given chance to many builds to really test what works best, everyone just likes the speed cause its convenient, but it gives no real advantage other than in chasing

Just do some wrecks. get the shit material and make tons of ammo. I always catch the wrecks when grabbing my gold pieces from production.

You can also get the Royal Custodian from Cutthroat Cargo PVP events. Got a good few of them from there. Also, when doing the East Indies shipwreck run, the start would be at the first(top) ship on the left on the map, and include the third ship a bit further along on the right side, and when you're back at the first ship again, it''s ready for cleaning again, as it takes about as long as relogging, at least for me.

Your vids are great.. Def a sub here. Im a Kingpin 22 or something like that. But def this is the meta and it shreds pvp and pve. I use the blackprince armor but have a cpl RC. I found the BP is a bit better for pvp as ive only been sank a few times by someone who was WAY better sailor than me lol.

At ramming is quite useful. My level 10 brigantine can ram a level 8 galleon and take half its health in one hit

Sambuk is good I been using in it cuz once u blaze spread to other ships and does damage, brigatine is good but runs out a lot from stamina and not much space but it's fast

the snow is near unstopable if built well for pvp, it just cant be used as a chaser, if you want to use a snow against a running brig you have to use fast travel, but if you are defending, i vouch for a snow or a barque tank build as long as you know how to brace and are defensive of your bows weak point, it will be almost impossible to sink you

The amount of times i went to do deliverys an there was 5-6 fire shooting ships is beyond me then they got there boyfriend who shoots your sails

Great and fun game in my opinion, do have to say it was a little too easy to get to Kingpin.. I bought the premium edition and during the 3 day early access I got all the way to Kingpin rank 2. Otherwise, It's a fun game with nice twists and turns.

Maybe the best things are the friends we make along the way

Update, I did a few and all they rewarded were 300 rep towards your kingpin rank, 4800 silver, and some vanity items. Nothing of value or actual use. Huge waste of time so far.

Does this mean that any "Gun Works" furniture also buffs damage even if the weapon does not do any elemental damage? Or does this only work on bombards? Thinking about buffing Scurlock's Long Nines for example with the Long Gun Works I

They did announce that the shorter reset timer is incorrect and progress only resets after season 1 ends. They also clarified that nothing will reset when season 1 starts as well.

@SharkHippie The Sea Monster appears only if you have accepted the side quest in Lanitra, after that, it appears above Ile Michel and ONLY once you accepted the side quest, it will NOT appear until then. As for Maangodi aka Ghost Ship, you have to accept the side quest Oceans Apart and it'll appear just to the right of The Oubliette ( you can fast travel there ) and it appears at night. Hope that helps

You mean Monsterous Teeth, those are the 1's that's needed for the Oroborous Hull Armor and you'll need 50 of them, and with the Maangodi aka Ghost ship, you'll need 50 Ethereal Ashes

@@chrismeyers5963 no they are correct. you need 50 for the BP but to actually craft it you need another 25 teeth and monstrous scales which are not in the game yet. they will come from the new sea monster thats coming with season 1.

fire 2 will work well, but dont be scared to mix and match, there are really powerful builds that people are locking them selves out of just because people started shouting meta in a brand new game before even trying everything no one will get a better build if everyone follows a meta thats barely been established days after the games launch

I wouldn't recommend buying more helm upgrades since they reset in 7 days, I'd recommend to save as much gold you can till it resets then dump the gold into upgrades.

Don't care if brigantine is top I'm farming lvl 11 rogues with sambuk and full fire 3 bombards. The fires so satisfying. If only it was blue flames

Hey swolebenji. I don’t understand every time I’m playing I never get a co-op to do a plunder or to gain access to a certain area I have no idea how to do this. All I see is PVP. Every once in a while, I will see the blue circles, but they’re never for locations they’re only for ships. Am I doing something wrong? Or not progressed far enough through the storyline

Do you think they will wipe the upgrades for the citys when season 1 starts? I mean it says that it will reset after 90 days but on the other page for the general upgrades it says only a few days. So i wonder why they should wipe those upgrades and not the other upgrades from the map and maybe it is possible that we need to capture alle citys again with the start of season 1. Was there any official statement from Ubisoft about this?

The final boss of the story spawns these little explodey mini-ships that each give 50 and infinitely respawn en-masses but it's difficult to farm.

You can go after forts and capital bases too as higher ships will constantly spawn in but rewards wise you’ll probably get more/better mats from helm missions unless you can smash forts quickly

If you hate the bombs. What other weapons can you use to be viable in the endgame?

Flooding demi 3s or zamazama 3s is the only other option for brigantine, culverins are just eh

What’s the best water farm

So you don’t think the padewoken(or however you spell the explosive ship) is the better choice? I’m guessing because the explosive ship only has 3 bombards on the left and right instead of four, but just making sure

@@stuartmccandlish4784 I’ve been using the explosive ship with a very similar load out as the one in the video… idk if the 1000 damage explosions are more or less valuable than the extra bombards on the sides, +1 furniture slot, and speed increase

Unfortunately due to the design of the game, no. The Brig gets more furniture slots and weapon ports which increases your ship level/damage. It would be cool if they implemented down the road to refit your lower ships into a Kingpin-level ship. Some of the lower ships are pretty cool (my fave is the Snow) but the way the game is they just cant compete later.

i agree that the brig is the best ship but i cant play it for the life of me i keep getting destroyed in mins and i do have that armor so for now i much prefer the snow

The endgame is .... interesting. First, I love Smugglers and smuggling. I was hoping this game had smuggling. I used to play a Freetrader in some other games so that part is fun. However, this was supposed to be a pirate game so I was expecting more piratey activities. PvP isnt really all that piratey from a historical stance. I would like to see something besides PvP for pirate activities. Plundering is cool but again, need a group and groups seem hard to find with all the social features disabled still. I feel like the leveling up was a pirate game but the end game is a smuggler/delivery game. I feel its fun now, but being a PoE delivery person is going to get boring real fast. The Red Isle is enough of a grind every few hours and I dont know how some are handling it without sleeping. I feel they need to either decrease the amount of PoE's produced, or maybe like Kenway's Fleet have a feature where you can have an NPC fleet gather for you at a risk. Just the Red Isles can take an hour every few hours. I cant imagine having the entire map unlocked. Its a huge grind that isnt sustainable unless you dont have a life outside the game. Maybe this gets better with Kingpin levels and ranks. I'm currently around Kingpin 15 and 4-5 ranks in manufactories. So I do feel like unless they fix the "collecting" part, a lot of people are going to get bored really quickly. Because that and forts seems to be all end game really is. You collect PoE and Corsairs to get better gear. Then what? You have a BiS ship with nothing to do but deliver PoE's. Maybe farm materials for the future. Its the beginning but I hope they add more activities down the road.

All PvP is opt in unless you wander into a hostile takeover circle (Red circle) in which case you can be attacked but can't attack back unless you join in the activity.

You covered a lot here for sure. I am overall discouraged with the PVP aspects of this game so far. I hate how the best items are essentially locked behind PVP content through legendary cutthroats or the hostile takeover for pieces of 8, etc. I have tried a few PVP events and got steam rolled by players that all the best weapons and gear already. I don't have the time to farm that much pieces of eight (and i won't buy them) to even be able to compete. The cost of the items in the black market for the casual solo player really makes me want to stop playing the game as i see no future in it for me. PVP is just not fun for me. I know that's just me and i have "get good". Great content though thanks.

@@AgentGeo the real pro tip is if your alone in a server the map won't come out so make sure there's at least 1 other person(not in your group)

They need to hurry up and fix that bug where at times you can’t interact with anything at all it’s really frustrating constantly having to close game application and come back in just so it happens again 10 minutes later

1.) Rogues will chase you if you're delivering using the Helm. 2.) They will chase you if you recently destroyed the helm ship (Roving Missions) 3.) They will chase you when you have Pieces Of Eight in your inventory (When you collect from you manufacturies/industries)

What is the point to have other medium ships like support,Tank and dps, since mostly all player to go after the fastest ships in the game, that just rarely see other players to use other medium ships like tank or support and the game has mmorpg stuff, i can't see the poing here

Building this ship will make you the ultimate pirate, just don't forget to bring your lucky parrot for extra plunder luck!

Bargue is the best ship .. 100%

Can you even get oroboros? Iv never found the monster that drops the scales. There is a more rare monster that drops the scales. In the codex you can see it.

Yeah there's a daily you can do and then a random rumor that can appear for the 2nd monster. Season 1 has a giant croc thing too in the trailer we can probably also farm.

I'm about to upgrade to the brig but since there's no story missions I have exactly 1 torsion spring, also in cutthroat rank At this point should I just grind out kingpin and if I do will the endgame even start without completing the story?
