Skrillex in the studio creating music! (R.I.P Ray Manzarek)
Музыка
A catalyst for musical innovation, RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT is a new documentary, produced in association with Grammy's and presented by Hyundai Veloster, that examines music's past, present and future, while yielding five revolutionary collaborations in the process. Directed by award-winning documentarian, Amir Bar-Lev (The Tillman Story, My Kid Could Paint That), the documentary follows five electronic DJs/producers as they re-imagine music collaborating with influential artists from each genre. In the film, The Crystal Method, DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, Mark Ronson, and Skrillex use technology to mix musical styles and generations for the creation of five original tracks that are nothing short of magical.

the old guy understood nothing of it, probably hated it yet still went "... alright, back to square one. gimme a beat like... ". simple and efficient professionalism. he didn't go "... what the fuck is this shit?" but started to figure out ways to work with the guy. thats professionalism

The music? Not so awesome. Skrillex as an authentic, passionate musician? Very awesome. Meanwhile, Ray Manzarek is a hack who latched onto the leader of classic rock's most shallow band and wouldn't show Skrillex a shred of respect despite only one of them being capable of creating music without a discount version of Robert Plant to do the heavy lifting.

I went from not having ever heard of this kid a few weeks ago(yeah i'm getting old and not up to date with shit anymore) to being one of his biggest fans now. He's Incredibly talented and seems about as down to earth as a person can be. Its unreal how at 24 years old he's already changed the electro music industry as much as he has.I really hope this guy keeps on doing his thing too. Really awesome to see such a cool, genuine person be successful ya know.

"I think the coolest part is making a cool song, right?" the deepest and most profound words I have ever heard. A true genius.
full videooo mann!!
All of them are looking MAD
They should have some respect for other musicians , i mean guys it shouldn't be about age , popularity , type of music or whats kicking , when musicians come together to create music it should be about "music"and not looking down at the other man and pointing a finger and being disrespectful... ... by the look of it Skrillex was quite please to show theses guys his ideas but the guys weren't, you all saw it,.. so instead of "improvising" on what Skrillex has like pros this is what append 3:21 the other way around...
First off, Sonny is 25, not 30. Second, he has put a ton of work and effort into what he has accomplished. He was in a couple bands before joining FFTL and he has worked very hard to get where he is. I for one, am very proud of him and have been a huge fan since he was 16.
I want more!!
my right ear enjoyed your intro!
they're so old it looks like it's they're wearing masks. I think it's crazy they're still playing music at that age. Awesome
SKRILLEX.....PLUS THE DOORS..........EPIC SHIT. Looking for part 2 of this vid. In a response , I am glad to hear Skrill mention that he is also a musician. As a producer myself, I also use midi with LIVE musicians. Its extremely vital to vibe both....he nails it as usual. Although I dont produce Skrillex type riddims, his collab with Damian Marley was some epic shit too. Sick......

"ahan, ahan...ahan" wth was that reaction? Poor Skrillex was surrounded by pre-historical human beings.
I liked what skrillex was able to do with the basic drum beat, and that older man treated him like a scub. Kinda disrespectful to Skrillex if you ask me.

I am a producer (in my 20's), I use digital "shit" and analog, and I am telling you the Doors are more talented that 99% of producers around today. You truly have no clue of the things in which you speak. And heaven forbid people take music seriously... it's only life to many, many people... Seriously go back down into your mom's basement listening to dub-step and Machine-sampled hip-hop tracks while the rest of the world creates a hybrid sound, not a solely "digital sound" which you ignorantly believe will happen. Music occurs in cycles and no one trend will ever sustain for an extended period of time
