I don’t know, Skoda are actually quite good at converting concepts to reality. Mind you what the cost will be of a big SUV with a big battery like this will be is another story - probably talking $90,000USD plus. Another massive SUV no one needs :(

I'm amused. Bunch of creative folks go crazy, make something that looks a bit like a car without really getting restrained about what's feasible or practical. Then an engineer comes and starts asking „Why?!“ 😀 Honestly, I have a similar problem as with most other concept cars. They go over the edge with crazy ideas and fancy stuff and kind of forget that it should still stay being a car with the main purpose of moving people and stuff around. For me, the main things ‒ how it drives, if it's easy to put luggage into, how comfortable the steering wheel would be, how safe it is, what assistants it has ‒ come first. Then, if I want a mobile phone to stick somewhere, I can as well use some kind of chewing gum…

I love semi matte paint on concept cars. Too bad they're rarely available in the production versions. Ariya concept as an example was amazing in its concept form, but the blue semi matte paint is not available. Also this Skoda looks pretty neat.

So glad I ordered the Enyaq Coupé RS iV before this design language takes over, I am not a fan of this model...

As a father of three I would love to have a 7 seater electric car right now.

For sure. I don’t know anything about Kia EV9. Nio ES8 and Model X are both more luxury than we would need it and are not quite affordable to have here in Germany. I would also add ID.6 to the list.

Would like to see VW group bringing more cars sooner as like this one will probably be 3-5 years away…. And cheaper/smaller cars like ID1/2, but again, sooner than 2-4 years ideally. Such huge suicide doors would be a nightmare in car parks. It was bad enough with my i3….

I'm guessing the "the relax mode" is also for eventual autonomous driving mode, since the dashboard, steering wheel and pedals pull back.

Kia/Hyundai have some major delivery problems with their EVs. They are unable to deliver Evs for 2years old orders. You cant even place orders for their EVs over here. On the oder hand Tesla has huge m3/y inventory and they are unloading them with extra price cuts.

I really wish this would come out just as it is. Such a great design. Maybe just remove that baby seat section and I would buy it. My kids would love all that space.

Because they get to save money on the wipers and the screw wash routing, while claiming their cars are so aerodynamic they don't need them. Which is a shame in places where you park your vehicle outside and get snow, ice, rain etc and you need rear window visibility before you even pull out of your parking space

Looks like this could be even better looking than the EV9.

I'll buy everyone an ice cream if a VW-group concept car has 10% resemblance at delivery. Never happened, never will happen.

Electric door openers are not practical if it's shitty weather. The car would be wet or full of snow and cold before you're done.

Newer iPhones don’t need a case in order to stick to the seat, because they have magnets built in for MagSafe. MagSafe is an Apple exclusive feature

Did you try sitting in the middle or the back? It does not look like it has space.. i find it kind of useless the whole design. A schuko cannot m Be mounted outside the car the way they did. It does not follow any standards about water not entering the outlet. A lot of funny ideas..
