I own a 1.0 AT, from my experience the AC is below par. But i have a couple of observations about the measurements u did, 1. Any automotive AC can bring down the temperature rapidly if u select the re-circulation mode. In this video i can see you chose the default mode which is Fresh air or outside air. 2. I have seen in my car the drop in temperature is faster when u drive the car. This might be due-to the optimal operation of AC compressor at higher rpms. Skoda might have used a less powerful AC compressor to mask the turbo lag in 1.0 & 1.5 owing to the increased kerb weight of MQB platform cars. Moreover Skoda must have used the same compressor on both 1.0 and 1.5, simply clever..!

Hey thanks for sharing your insights. But one thing I’d like to share is, even when I turn on re circulation mode it still takes the same amount of time for the car to cool if it has been under the sun for a long time. So I don’t see much of a difference. But what you said about the AC compressor I believe you’re correct and yes once you start driving it, the cooling does become slightly better. Thanks for watching and do consider subscribing. Cheers!
Waiting eagerly on your headlights upgrade video for the slavia @turborev

@@turborevvthank you
The very single reason we had to opt out the VAG cars. Check the refrigerant quantity in your Rapid/Polo/Vento. The quantity is more than that of Kushaq/Slavia/Taigun/Virtus. It's such a shame on VAG to cut corner on such important aspect. The cabin volume is more, the window area is more then which moron would reduce the refrigerant quantity to improve cooling?

They’ve definitely cut corners for sure. Not only with the AC but also with fit and finish as well. Cars like polo and rapid were known for their quality in the interior and exterior. Even though feature wise they didn’t offer much, but people did not mind because the quality it offered was miles above. Even the paint quality has gone down a bit. No complaints with my Slavia as such but the cost cutting is really not justified.

Among the other mid-size sedans, which has the best/better air conditioning?

@@g1ur1v The CITY and Verna too must come close.
I agree, My taigun cools slower compared to others cars i sit in as well as compared to my other car. Overall, cooling is not strong. Also, cars with 800cc engine and similar 1L engine in hyundai cools better. It's AC components problem, no two ways here

Agreed, my almost 15 year old Figo cools better than my slavia 1.5
WHY AREN'T you removing that DEALER sticker branding in rear windsheild .. I THINK that can be easily removed with Bare NAILS
complaints raised on 1.0 Litre engines, not on 1.5

Yes you’re right! But it still lacks the cooling performance which is expected out of this engine.
