My best ever value for money purchase. Got it last month. Only bad feeling about the car is AC is below par. Other than that the car is awsome. Most value for money car under 15 lakhs on road is Slavia ambition.

If u have Climate control in ur car , then you can Code ur car to enhance your AC performance, then ur AC issue will not be der 😃

Bro one question here , actually the braking performance is good in automatic version and mine is 1 litre AT . But in bumper to bumper traffic sometimes car brake is becoming very hard and it’s stopping 1 sec after applying . Brake noise is also coming . While pressing brake , getting hissing sounds also . SC people are saying it’s hydraulic. Are you encountering any issues whatever I noted ?

@@rsaideekshith creaking noise was there while breaking, especially when car is descending, but only during the initial few weeks. So far the breaking performance is good and I haven't felt any lag. If you feel like your breaks are lagging please address the issue with skoda customer care.

Same pinch... I too changed from Beat to Slavia 1.5 DSG. Loving it so far

I am using a Taigun 1L topline for last 2 years. Currently 19834km in odo. I have similar opinion as this owner. Long drives are excellent. Car can easily cruise in 110 -125 in highways , even in curves.. It can go beyond 135 km , but wind noises and engine noises become very loud. Straight brakings from high speeds, powerful precise overtakings , well controlled steering wheels . Only down side of 1L is low performance AC , plastic quality of cabin , and some braking noises in low speeds.

Driving comfort is good, but, when pass on a hump on the pit, It seems like a sudden drop, and feel a discomfort. The reason may be , it s a foreign originated vehicle which have a good comfortable roads.... I mention this here, as I find , they didn't reveal this...

russia-ukraine war timelu majority car companies had chip shortage. So slavia 10 inch full touch screen was shortened to 8 inch with knobs. Now slavia comes with full 10 inch touch screen. Back to normal!

Under 1500rpm card does struggle with AC on. This engine can do better and does in octavia i Europe. But for some reason this engine is tuned for miles and is not as punchy as some rivals especially mahindra turbos. 1.2 turbo mpfi in xuv300 feels more punchier. Slavia 1.0 has good mid and top end. But definitely miss BOTIM grunt unless you floor it.

@@mrvattoli1858 not exactly, these highway figures are at an avg speed of 75-85kmph with few stretches of over 100kmph speed. If you want constant bursts of sudden acceleration the mileage will go down to 16kmpl on highways. The choice is yours, its good to have choices right?

With GT I'm getting 8 - 10 on city and 16- 18 on Highways. That on speeds around 90 with top speed 120.

No. 1.5 is better. 1.0 buyers will try hard to justify their decision. Also 1.0 models have more ac issues. But torque is adequate for quick overtakes.

If you are buying a skoda/vw and choosing 1 ltr over 1.5 and torque converter over DSG, then the only reason could be budget ! 0-100 in 8 sec? The video itself shows around 12 secs(10:19 to 10:31)…..if 1 L gives 8 secs then 1.5 would be giving 6 secs , would clearly position it near the premium/sport category. Even an Octavia/golf can’t achieve that speed let alone Audi ! As in Kottayam language they say “enna vidalaada oove” … as some one already mentioned a stage 2 or 3 may achieve that especially since this is a torque converter…otherwise good review… pls remember that when people over claim mileage/performance figures this could be due to Halo effect, a cognitive bias in psychology ….as viewers sometimes we may think what he says is true… b/w I am owning a rapid tsi stage 1+ tuned from code 6…

We have two kinds of buyers , one who wants to speak highly of their new purchase called regret bias. Then there are the other category who always keeps criticising the manufacturer/dealer. The truth lies somewhere between. We can always mouth the truth without hurting anyone. Also, such comments if read with a conscious sense can help the content creators improve their content too. So no need to hold back, speak out !
