@@vaibhav8712 yes ,i understand the pain of you indian petrol heads ,volkswagen sells good cars in india but the never brought in the polo gti coupe ! And fiat never got their sporty coupe variants! Also toyota didn't sell corollas of coupe variants and with a powerful engine! And subaru never brought in their cars to india ! And the lancer evo never approached india! What is even more worse is that it is really hard to find a rwd car with a powerful engine and manual gearbox! It is all because of the common indian mentality that cars are made to go from point a to b and also must fit in a large family and even must be a diesel! And i have an indian friend and i understand his struggle when he was in india !

AFS is Adaptive front lighting system. The lights align themselves on startup and move as per the steering angle. The lights also adjust the spread of lights as per speed (lengthier throw on highway and wider throw in city driving). Its one of the best features it has to offer

They also move outwards and inwards...then adjust the beam angle as per the angle of inclination of the work. Very helpful in hilly terrains and exiting a mall basement parking

I put down deposit for 2019 octavia RS, which they didn’t bring it last year, our dealer returned the deposit due to uncertainty and now they are bringing it with the price tag of 43Lakhs...come on Skoda...its not fair, last octavia RS was around 30L, which was imported via the same CBU unit. That’s some ridiculous pricing over here!!! I can buy an used Octavia RS and do Stage 2 performance engine mapping tune with cat delete exhaust system, which will deliver more power than this one...!

Bharath Raj Kumar am pretty much sure its a CBU unit instead of CKD. Because in 2017 they brought 180 units and in 2018 they brought 350+ units to India from their European plant!

@@thelionking3321 It's a 350 Unit CKD priced at 26L ex-showroom with suspension and GC tweaked for Indian conditions with 230 HP 2.0 engine. The current one is a full Euro spec one. Check out the Autocar review where they mentioned the CKD as well.

There are two kind of advertisements: one that makes you buy something and the one that makes you avoid something just like the irritating, non skippable Swift ad.

It is expensive at 43 lakhs and the fact it is limited.

Your forgot the most important part in your video. THE ENGINE.

As always skoda is superb

I don't understand skoda management, 200 units VRS are sold in days but they get it in CBU,whereas the normal octavia takes months to sell 200 units.Why don't they ensemble VRS in India and get the L&K variant in CBU. Hope you can pass this message to Skoda. Skoda now looting indians in the name of CBU,just with few features and slight increase in power they are charging almost 10Lakhs more than the previous batch of VRS.

Such an elegant car (and mean looking at the same time)! Always loved the understated design language of Skoda. It's alright if there's no stick shift on offer but I doubt if there are any paddle shifters either. The pricing could have been more aggressive as Indian masses simply run after big names in the business. All in all, it's a very capable car. A timeless machine! ♥️

@@Countrysideboy247 but car manufacturers don't like your thinking & there are less enthusiates in india...we don't even have hot hatches. Now even suvs have becomed fwd monocoque crossovers...rather than traditional 4x4 ladder frame suvs.

@@Countrysideboy247 all have their own choices,but sedans are dying in india. Reason- Bad roads,less gc & they're difficult to manevour in traffic. Thats why people are switching to crossovers & suvs...& its also cheap to manufacture fwd suvs,coz of price consious market & few are found of offroading. Thats why honda & toyota are struggling to sell their sedans,but škoda & vw are exceptional.

No body is gonna spend 43 peti on skoda's fwd😃
