Despite having been dubbed Rote Sau II (Red Pig II) by some spectators, new Octavia Combi RS TDI sounds boring and looks boring on the video when driven hard. But the reality is completely different - its 184 PS output is not really high, but it can be very fast and entertaining even on the Nurburgring Nordschleife thanks to its very agile chassis and good handling. This is a 8:53 BTG lap in heavy traffic and one big fault with only 15,5 l diesel/100 km (18.2 MPG UK, 15.2 MPG US) consumption - both with two men onboard and lot of luggage. Well, most people nowadays think 184 is not powerful. But let's remember not so long ago even a 110 or 130bhp was considered a "powerful" (standard) streetcar... :) Power is not the most important factor as proved by this video. Other factors like chassis, suspension, etc... play a bigger role. And of course the person behind the wheel remains the #1 "factor"! :)
Good driving, better than everyone he/you overtook! Just shows any car is fast in the right hands. I guess the driver has a much faster lap time in another car?

very good driving! i'm driving also an octa 3rs tdi ;) but the limousine version ;) is everything original or have you made something with the suspension or reprogrammation like?
