I have the Taigun GT manual. And it is a delight. I felt the manual is more powerful than the DSG one. Also the driving experience is superior in Manual when compared to DSG. Push back feel is more prominent in the manual. Absolutely love it!

I am also driving swift vxi 2017 model. Wanted to upgrade to skoda. But I get sceptical when heard about negatives like poor mileage, not so good ac cooling. I get 14 to 15 avg on my swift. Can I expect on an average 10-12 kmpl from kushaq?. My daily commute road is normal city traffic and few stops at red signal. If you can please let me know your comments which will ease my purchase decision. Also is manual better than DSG?

One more question: 1.0 or 1.5 which is better in terms of nbh, I heard 1.0 also provide good torque but my inclination towards 1.5 only. Only confusion between MT or DSG in terms of fuel economy, long term reliability

@@debrajschoudhury if long term reliability is a concern it’s better to go for the manual transmission as the dsg gearbox heats up in stop and go traffic but if the comfort of automatic is very important to you then there are some of the points which you need to take care of while you drive. For example: when you have to stop the car for more than 30 seconds put the car in neutral and engage the hand break so that you don’t stress the gearbox. Also check if the car you are buying is compatible with E20 petrol. This is very important as the engine components wear and tear increases if you don’t use compatible fuel. Finally don’t forget to do the PDI. There are third party companies who can do it for you for around 1.5k to 2.5k of you are living in a metro. All the best 👍
