Ordered this new RS last week. Decided to get all available options just to be safe. Hopefully the 4.0 is now something you can live with. Going to be the first EV for me.

Gratz on the car :) 4.0 is much better than before and Skoda have done it better than Volkswagen, you made a great choice :) If you got it maxed out, you'll also get the adaptive chassi which will help with comfort.

@@theelectriccarmagazine I currently got an adaptive air suspension from Audi, so I consider this as a slight downgrade 😅 I hope I'm wrong.

I've ordered the L&K version of the coupe. I think it looks smarter.

The preheat software can’t be applied to earlier models? Is there some preheating hardware missing? Similar applied for the Ioniq5 and I’m unsure if preheating feature was possible to apply to its older models either.

Sadly no, it will not come to estlier versions. Skoda says hardware is missing but they have the option to preheat to above 0 in older models so I am not sure that hardware that is. It’s a shame really!

It CAN be applied to previous models, VW just CHOSE it to do so to tell existing customers how much they are valued by the brand.

Dont forget with B mode, you're probably using more energy to re accelerate than the regen' produces .. There's a brake pedal for a reason.
