My first inclination is that I have too much on the worktable already, but the included terrain could tip the balance.

The terrain really stood out to me too. I’ve just built one and will share the video building the second one. Great value for £100 I think.

Glad it helped!

The 'tripod' on the back of the Sherman is a support strut that you clamp the main gun to while travelling.

​@@tabletopskirmishgames The Firefly travels with the main gun to the rear, so that is why the travel lock is at the back But if you check the normal Sherman hulls, they have the same thing in the front glacis plate, as they travel with the gun locked forward

Looks good. Not sure I really need a 28mm scaled tank game when I have loads of Flames of War stuff. I wonder if there's a way to get just the rules and card bits? I think the instructions for that terrain might be on the Warlord games site. It's the same stuff that is used for all their 28mm stuff from ECW to WWII because it's so genericish Europeanish.

You can buy the rulebook separately and also a bundle of all the cards which is nice.

It’s a pretty heavy rule set, and with Rogue Warriors and other projects, I don’t have plans to at the moment. Yes it was a banjo, very cool details in this set.

With this and Clash of Steel coming out we are being spoiled?!

They've released tank sets for each country, the British box has Churchills and a Wolverine which would have been better with a Cromwell I think.

It's looks like this is meant to be a DDay sort of set so the Shermans and Firefly make sense. Crusaders would have been phased out already in Italy and would be next to useless against a Panther. I think they also opted for A firefly because it's 17 lber is going to be pretty important for armor pen. The Cromwells were used for the Breakout, and many had Fireflys attached too. That opens some fun options up. On a purely marketing overview, it helps make the British set stand out from the starter, I suppose.

Looks like a great game, but I was immediately turned off once the box was opened. When I buy a game, I want to get it to the table and start playing. I don't want to spend hours putting the pieces together first. That's just big pet peeve of mine. A starter box should come pre-assembled. Unfortunately, I'm crossing this game off my list.
