The thing I learned from Clemson's trip to the Sugar Bowl is that if you carry your trophy from last year with you to this year's game, then you will have at least one trophy to carry back home. I guess that was their consolation prize.

Skip Bayless is laughable. He has no argument against Alabama. Joel Klatt is right by every single angle by every metric. Chill Will Uhh no. The Big Ten top to bottom is better than the Sec. And if the lower tier Sec teams get better that wouldn't help...that would mean the higher teams being knocked down a peg or two.

And if Alabama didn't miss field goals the score would have been higher. The offense didn't play especially well, but Coach Saban had them hand cuffed. He did not want to take a chance to turn the ball over. Alabama totally controlled the game. And Alabama's OL really showed up. The OL has not played as well the last few games.

Something no one give Alabama credit for this year??? Alabama has a very talented, very experienced secondary. Derek Mason said Bama has a better defense than Georgia, most notably pointing to the secondary. Occasionally, in the past, the secondary would get burned...all of these games that Skip is referencing. Jalen also helps the defense practice against the duel threat. They are much better equipped than when Johnny Football caught Alabama by surprise...way back in 2012! Alabama beats Georgia in similar fashion to beating LSU every year, sumn like 24-10.

They have a great secondary, but were down 9 guys in the Auburn game - funny that he didn't mention this when talking about the loss and how Auburn was able to run. It wasn't just the 30 days that helped the Tide shut them down.

It is so obvious that everyone in the sports media is so fatigued with the SEC. They hate the fact that two SEC teams have reached the championship game. It is so obvious! I would like to see a school from other conferences in there too but show some respect and give credit where it is due.
