Yago Dora was a little grom when he got the nickname Skinny Goat, given for his resemblance to a particularly spindly goat his older friends saw munching grass in a field. Now he’s all grown up and ripping like no one else in the world, but he still retains that goofy sense of humor, even while getting pitted deep in thunderous caves of brine. It’s that paradox of playful fun and dead serious gnar that makes Yago such a compelling surfer to watch. Just ask his braying spirit animal, making its first appearance in a major motion picture.

It's a tough choice choosing your 1st surfskate but the upturned nose of the Skinny Goat seemed to me legit for feet positioning & comfort. It's a polyvalent deck as you can ride it smoothly but also aggresively, even for ripping it downhills ! It slides easily, even with the concave wheels it comes with, the deck is wider than it looks tho

Très beau surfskate ! Il est très agréable à rider et maniable ! On attend son retour :-)
That little upturned nose has saved my front foot from getting away from me on the bowl sessions. 90a rat bone wheels for some extra speed in the bigger bowls works for me.

Per the usual, the linkage of surfing to skating on a Carver is abundantly clear! Now if I could just convince folks who snowboard of the linkage of surfing and snowboarding. They are mostly stuck on thinking snowboarding is like skating in a halfpipe or doing tricks in the air at a skatepark. It is if you ride a snowboard like that, but look at riders in Japan folks. There's another way to do it. People in the US are missing out on snowsurfing!

Paulo Lima Salve! Eu tenho um CX, nunca remei em um C7, mas até onde eu sei a galera que já andou nos dois diz que o CX se aproxima mais de uma pranchinha - é mais arisco. Me adaptei bem a ele, você consegue fazer curvas mais fechadas e simular melhor as manobras do surf. Lógico que tudo isso depende do seu equilíbrio e experiência. Mas recomendo fazer o test drive em ambos e escolher o que for mais divertido pra ti. Dps compartilha sua experiência com a galera. Abraços

If you put the trucks and wheels on a egular board, will it work the same way these do?

throw them on a popsicle skateboard deck and you have some very weird, rippable setup. Doesnt feel as comfy as the surf deck tho

@@SonLeDang on a normal skateboard deck the wheelbase will be too short to generate power. Best from 16 to 18 inch wheelbase and 9 inch wide
