agreed i have seen with two paper towels
thought you have to take a fresh paper towel to turn the water off?
This is INCORRECT!

You didn't even scrub your hands with soap for 20 SECONDS (not minutes!) , because you ran them under water before even scrubbing! This video needs to be RE-DONE!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! my test is in 4 days and this is helping gain more confidence with the refresh of the skills.
Ohh... so thats how HCA is done :000 I hope thid vid will help me pass my multi dimension analysys lecture exam
We are suppose to dry starting with the fingers, she said from the wrist
This should only take 20 seconds and use different paper towels. Also not high enough in the wrist area. Otherwise. Good. Thank you.
If you use the same paper towel to turn off the water PEARSON VUE will fail your skill

Stop being a drama queen. You will not fail, at worst you may lose one point. But if you actually go to your HCA/CNA's website and read the testers checklist, the points are as follows. 7 Use clean dry paper towerl to dry hands and wrists? 9 Use paper towel to turn water off after hands cleansed? 10 Dispose of used paper towerl in trash? Yes I know the skills manual and trainer points out to use a second paper towel for it, but the testing checklist does not deduct a point on it.

yes from what i have seen she dry her hands with the paper towel than another to turn off the faucet , and i see there are different videos people doing it different
I was told that if your fingers and hands are over the sink and angled downward, that you can lightly tap your fingertips together to get the water off as long as we don't flick out hands.

Correct but its better if you do nothing like that and just let them drip
How many time do you have to wash during a skill?? I know that the book is different from the video it’s so confusing😭Any tips would be great my exam next month in WA state. I would appreciate any information. I took the class in 2018 so it’s been a while and I’m now just taking the exam in 2020. TIA
