Skiing Hole in the wall at Winter Park! (DOUBLE-BLACK DIAMOND)

The great blizzard of MLK day 2024 was no letdown. We braved the roads to score some epic powder turns at Winter park resort / mary jane, where the snow was bottomless and deeeep. Take a run with me along the just opened hole in the wall trail, and a few other stashes around the mountain. Also Skiers and snowboarders from all over colorado were lining up on i-70 for the inaugural roadside invitational, which I humbly won with a clean switch 180 and and a failed 360 attempt among other tricks, with vmac taking 2nd with a big ol method grab, and other snowboarder bro took 3rd for a big 180. After berthoud pass had closed due to avalanche we were forced to make the best of it.

Awesome day man. Why was the road closed at the end? Just like 8 cars in front of you. I like how you made the most of things and did a road side invitational.

What day was this? You’ll probably never get to ski it again where it isn’t raw down to the rocks. I never have. Awesome experience!

Thanks yeah this was MLK Sunday, I saw people lining up at the gate with ski patrol so I had to hop in line

I haven't but we were discussing that it could be useful. I think it's like over $100 per ticket though so maybe if it cost less I would do it

I did it back in 2002 when it was $35 round trip, and it was awesome!
