    Yeah a bit of a change of scene from South America and Hawaii, that's for sure. Out in California now, not sure what I'll come up with to video here but we'll see.

    It was really nice seeing the personal side of your life Gabe. Thanks for sharing that with us. As one of the comments below alluded to.....we (I) love to see and learn about the food wherever you go, even at the home front! I think I will be traveling around the States the rest of this year, but haven't decided where to go at this writing. It has helped watching these last couple of videos (i.e. was considering San Francisco, but changed my mind after watching! ha - leaning toward Bend, OR) and seeing the food and knowing the cost is a helpful factor!

    Ha! Winter Park hasn't changed much in 30 years, lol. Oh man, good times a long time ago. My first ski lesson ever was at Winter Park in 1982. I ate in that cafeteria many times all through high school. I don't think I've been up there since 1989 or so. I was encouraged to see your dad skiing. Maybe it really is like riding a bike and I wouldn't eff myself up too much. I'm guessing the green beginner runs are still named after Alice in Wonderland? These days between gas, lift tickets, and rentals, there's just no way to swing it. But who knows. Maybe I'll head back up one of these days. Thanks for reminding me of good old days at Winter Park! A-Basin and Keystone were the other places that had student prices back then with discounted tickets at King Soopers. I think they were around 21 bucks for a full-day pass. Those were the days!

    Crazy seeing you in the snow and on skis! I totally thought you'd show us what a hot cocoa would cost in Colorado. Lol. I bet your viewers from other countries would like to see that though.

    How do you video yourself while ski-ing? I mean, both your hands are handling those what-do-you-call-them "ski sticks"? Where's the camera? #wondering

    +FerreneMachine Thanks. That does not seem like a good idea safety wise? Ski-ing is dangerous enough as it is? Don't know. Never ski-ied before. Looks dangerous and read media reports of people being injured, some fatally on the ski slopes. :p

  • @GabrielTravelerVideos

    @GabrielTravelerVideos

    +FerreneMachine Exactly, I was holding both of the ski poles in one hand while filming with the other. But I wasn't going as fast as I would have without the camera. You just have to be a little more cautious about it.

    +FerreneMachine Yep, true. The poles aren't necessary, just a helpful stabilizer.
