Kanazawa wasn't a speed demon like today's JKA is but he was fast & powerful, any time you see him do a series of techniques like these, you know if a mugger tried something in real life, I would pity that poor fool of a mugger. With Kanazawa, you know what he can do, not so evident with today's speed loving JKA. M. Yahara is one of the few living karateka who is also in that boat, you know what to expect from him. This is what real karate is all about.
