As a 50 year old and having liked Skid Row since the 80's it's hard to embrace any singer but Sebastian. However after seeing Erik perform that will change. The first person to even remotely rock out and sound like old Skid Row. He's energetic and great with the audience and that's huge. Oh yeah! He can sang too!!

He recently fought cancer and that's why his hair is short. I believe he'll grow it out asap. Lol

Just watched Skid Row live this past Friday night. Eric Gronwall was incredible.

We went to Vegas to catch the Skids/Scorps show last week. Sold out. 7k people and even during Skids everyone was on their feet the whole show and you could clearly see people were absolutely blown away by Erik. I'd known of Erik for the past several years having been a fan of H.E.A.T. Was very bummed when he left last year, but thrilled he joined Skid Row. He's a phenomenal replacement and an amazing fit.

He is adorable and what a voice , he is the best lead singer with Skid Row since SB

I grew up on Skid Row and honestly Erik has a great vibe about him, great singer and he seems like a very humble guy no rock star ego.

@@jg20140177 Steve Perry made me want to sing when I was just 7 yrs old. He is my vocal god. When I came across the Journey cover Skid Row did on KZread- omg. When Erik first opened his mouth I cried. Honestly, tears of pure joy the whole way through. What a voice. What a soul. Fan for life here.

For the past decade, I have been a fan of Erik and his prior band H.E.A.T. I missed the opportunity to see him perform years ago in Chicago, and then felt I would never get to hear his golden pipes live when I heard he left that band. Now he's in a band that I loved growing up, and I'll finally get a chance to see him perform! I love Bach's voice, but was really turned off when meeting him in person on his 1st solo tour. Not a nice guy. I've never met Erik, but he seems like the whole package: voice, presence, and a DECENT HUMAN BEING. I haven't bought a Skid Row album since Bach left, but that will change this fall!

His audition on swedish idol 2009 made me discover skid row, he did a cover on "18 and life" and it chocked me, still does, he is one of the best rock voices sweden have 🤟🏼🤟🏼🔥🔥

I hope that the Band keeps this Guy around for a long time 🤞🤞🤞 i love his Stage presence and the tone of his voice. It’s kinda weird that on the Swedish Idol he wasn’t speaking English but now he can speak it really well.

We caught their show with Scorpions in Las Vegas and Erik was phenomenal, as was the entire band. Like others have said, they sound like the Skid Row we all love hearing.

I got into H.E.A.T November 2021. A youtuber had used one of their songs as end music to one of their commentary videos. I was just floored, it was Victory with Gronwall on it from H.E.A.T II (their latest album). I was blown away and proceeded to buy all their albums and they're one of my favorite bands now, in large part because of Erik's vocals.

I've been a fan of Erik since Idol way back, and as a person. It is completely mindblowing how ignored he has been here in Sweden, and he's not lone case here. Somehow that great musical talent and voice skill doesnt get that recognized on wide range. Hopefully, the US and world has the amount of love and recognition for him that he truly deserves. I am just learning of him as of 2 days ago, I have always been team Bach…. But You couldn’t have said it better, he is absolutely perfect in every way, I have no doubt that skid row will now be the 3rd band to sound just as good as the original, ( the other 2 being journey and ironically who he was there to see foreigner) and bringing new life that has been missing since bach was fired, they are all amazing musicians, but bach is one of if not the best technical singer out there, like I said it has taken 25 years, and if you asked me a month ago if could skid row be great again without Sebastian, I Would have told you no way, but I am so happy to say how wrong I have been proven, I am more interested in this then new Guns N’ Roses or any other band from this era now, they were always my favorite, but since bach it hasn’t been the same, I have been watching videos for 2 days straight,,,,, I can Say that I LOVE The current line up of skid row, they better not let him go, he is the last unicorn.period

definitely a hard worker, was doing one cover per week sometimes the past year, in addition to recording the New Horizon album, and also now Skid Row. I'm happy to be a fan since he's going to become an even bigger star now, and is helping spearhead the return of rock

He is doing an outstanding job. Love it that now Skid Row is really back rocking. Hope they come to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷soon. I saw them perform in the early 90's with Bon Jovi. Can,t wait to see them again.

I've been a fan of Erik's since his debut album with HEAT in 2012, and I was lucky enough to see him with HEAT five times. He is really one of the greatest vocalists and live performers on the planet. I was disappointed when he left HEAT, but happy for him to have this opportunity with Skid Row, and excited for him to finally be touring in the US! I've already gone to see Erik with Skid Row, and the performance was phenomenal, as expected. I look forward to getting to see him again!

I can´t wait to hear, Erik, sing Wasted Time live! Livin on a chain gang, is my favorite SR song. Saw SR live twice in 1991, opening up for GN´R and then headlining early decmember that year, both concerts in Stockholm, Sweden. I love how Liz, is looking at Erik during the interview.

I was skeptical about the new lead singer until I heard him on 4/16. I’ve been a skid row fan since the beginning. Sebastian Bach is awesome but so is Erik. He nailed it. I hope they go on tour next year.

He comes across really well , really humble down to earth ordinary guy,, but he still sounds more like a fan of the band than actually been in the band,, ill be honest, never even heard of him before he joined,,but anything I've seen or heard from him seems to be rop quality, so I wish him nothing but the best, considering what he's been through to get where he is,, all the best from dublin ireland 🤘🤘😛

Like he said he is not trying to replace Sebastian Bach he only wants to perform Skid Row music up to it original standards I've been a fan of the band heat for years Erik did an awesome job in that band. Funny how things work out in the band Heat Erik replaced the original singer Kenny. Now in Skid Row doing the same thing which is back to original audition on some Idol show in Europe doing the song 18 and life and he was only 15 at the time which in turn started his music career. Full circle! This guy is the real deal with his voice and more important his character as a person.

In interview, it looks like he is humble man and good listener.. my opinion 😃 anyway, he is good
