I love Baz but for well over a decade he’s had a four piece band that sounds terrible,his only guitarist simply cant get through a single song without messing up,and his rig is doo doo,he plays terribly and has no presence what so ever. They don’t have the full sound that Hill and Sabo bring to the table in this original 5 piece band. I always felt Baz was Skid Row but the bands were no comparison live and fans have been telling him this for years. My issue with this Row was always their singers,as much as i love Dragonforce ,there’s no comparison to Baz 100%,but now Eric comes along and the kid can sing,he has stage presence and can sound like Baz too! It’s night and day i promise you! After watching this go watch a live show with Baz and his band he’s had for ages and you’ll get it!

Great set list, they should use track 11 spot as the place to change out some deeper cuts like... Riot Act, Mudkicker, Firesign, Face Against My Soul, Medicine Jar, Not Dead Yet, Resurrected and When The Lights Come On. Great to see this band back in top form and the new album is awesome.

For a guy to rebound from cancer and it continuously be able to hit notes like that I give the god props as far as Sebastian Bach he had his time and he's still out there making music but for Eric it's his time so stop knocking the guy for what he's doing for those of you that are knocking him because if you were able to do that you'd be out there making money but the ones of you that are complaining about how he is I don't see you out there making the money so until you're out there making the money better than you think somebody else can do knock it off.

Gotta give SKID ROW credit...while sebastian can still do the songs..they really showed him that they DO NOT NEED HIM!!! this guy has the chops for sure 🤘🤘🤘

Erik is everything Sebastian was 30 years ago voice and frontman-wise, but he's also not a raging egoholic who picks fights with his own audience. I'll take Skid Row all day long. Sebastian's voice doesnt sound like it once did and Erik doesn't need to go powder his nose after 5 songs :)

If Sebastian Bach was in the band they would have been on the Guns & Roses tour. They could have e the stadium tour with Def Leppard and Motley Crue.They would be better off with Baz. I'm not saying this guy sucks or anything but from a business standpoint it's not close.

Yeah , definitely. I've seen them twice this year and was a little disappointed they didn't do at least one off that record (Eileen preferably) but I guess they thought go with the most popular records plus a couple of new ones and they couldn't go wrong, but they could of switched out one or two imo

Yeah on this tour they only get between and our to about an hour and a quarter to play and they have to play the songs people expect and also some of the songs to help promote the new album. Rachel said in an interview Erik wants to do like a 2.5 hour set and sing every song from the first two albums, and a few from each album following, but they can't do that. But, they did say hoping next years tour they'll be able to have a longer set and might do a song or two from subhuman

It's pretty amazing how much he sounds like Bach. Even the chatter at the audience during and in between songs sounds exactly like 1992 era Skid Row.

Fantastic all around. The singer has chops and then some. The thing for me though is that they found a singer who sounds like Bach back in the late 80's early 90's. No, it's not a bad thing but it kinda feels like they know that a Bach voice is what's gonna sell. Doesn't seem like a true progression with the music. But hey, many of the bands from back in the day cater to the fans...try their best to give them the old hits as they were played originally. I'll admit I'm a fan of the old Bach line up. That's Skid Row for me and always will be. But this is definitely a great show. They're totally on point. But yet, this kinda feels to me like a Skid Row cover or tribute band. Just my $0.02. I'm glad these guys have found a singer to rejuvenate the band. Overall, good on them.

Listen to Erik do Quicksand Jesus now and I can tell you besides the album version, Erik's version is the best live version I've ever heard. Bach made it famous on the album, but live he was often pitchy and off key. Erik is pretty spot on live, because he has the ability to sing like the record live, while Bach was only good in the studio, but Erik was able to do that in his other band H.E.A.T. too. I'm not saying Bach is a bad singer, just that he NEVER sounded exactly like the record live, he was often hit or miss. You have your opinion, but I can hear when Bach was pitchy and off key and he was a lot back then.

For those who thought they would never find a vocalist the height of Sebastian Bach, here's the proof that they were wrong!!! Definitely, bye Sebastian Bach, you're definitely gone!!

Makes you wonder these were the same guys except one that wrote the fantastic material on the 90's, Why cant they write more fantastic music instead of regurgitating the same old 90's stuff into the ground with another singer. Some bands can evoke that spirit on command, and some just seem to struggle.

How typical of Skid Row. They have a new album out and only play two songs from it live? The band claim they want to get away from Sebastian's era and yet all they do is play the songs he sang on. Mind you though, Sebastian is guilty of that too. All he ever does when he plays live is sing the songs he once sang in Skid Row. One day he might actually perform his solo stuff live instead of re-living being in Skid Row. I find his solo stuff to be miles better than anything he ever did with Skid Row, so it's a tad annoying when you keep seeing the same old songs being performed.

The problem is though, if they played more off the new album then a lot of fans would be complaining they didn't do more of the old stuff so it's a bit of a no win situation for them at the moment. Hopefully once they have more new material with Eric, to follow on from "The Gangs All Here" (which is a great record) they'll start mixing it up a bit more. Until then, they are giving (most of) the fans what they want which is not a bad thing. The future is looking bright for them right now and I'm happy to see them doing well again.

Fans of 80s and 90s bands typically want their healthy serving of music from that era, regardless of if they are original members or not. But yeah, I expect to hear some newer music too. Even much larger bands like Metallica acknowledge their older music is their best and they continue to play it 40 years later.

No comparison anymore! Eric G found directions to park avenue and it led to the real Skid Row! Baz band sounds nothing like this! Live they sound like two people and a drummer singing and playing terribly unplugged. That 4 piece cannot hold a candle to these guys now! Well this was unequivocally,by far the better band all along but all their singers just couldn’t hold a candle to Baz,but Baz having the same shite band he’s had fir over a decade is literally the end fir them now! This is my Skid Row for sure now! They just sound so good! Shots out to my man 🐍 Sabo for wearing sleeves! Ha!

Just wish they would mix up the set list, it’s so predictable, throw in one other more random song at least

The old tunes still kick asses. Erik is a breath of fresh air, yet, the new songs are pretty lame and forgettable. The new album is a disappointment.

It's just a cover band without Bach.

This guy has the pipes no doubt and I loved Skid Row in the early years but why drop Seb for someone who sounds the same? I’m not knocking the guy,he is an amazing singer but did Snake realise Sebs voice was what was missing and go for a sound a like? It must be hard for him to sing these to attempt to do it his way could be seen by some as being disrespectful and by singing exactly like Seb did may be seen as being a Seb wanna be. As I’ve said I’m not dissing this guy,he is amazing. Just good to hear Skid Row again done right!

I still remember when Skid Row hit the big time and I loved them, the 1st and 2nd records were so good Sub human race I thought was okay. Anyway, Bach and the rest of the band had their differences so they fired him for whatever reason (some rumours say it was for booking the band to open for kiss without the consent of the rest of the band but most say because he was "a dick" and hard to get along with ) but whatever ,that was back in the mid 90's. The replacements since then have been ok but not good enough to sing these songs right ...until now. Eric is a great vocalist in his own right with tonnes of energy and he breathes new life into a great band that has been lost in the wilderness for a long time and I think he should be judged on those things and not compared to Bach. Some won't like him, others will and I am of the latter, finally they have someone that can do justice to these songs.

When you say "drop Seb", you realize Bach hasn't been in the band for almost 30 years, right? Also, these songs need to be sung a certain way, and few have the chops to do so. This guy definitely can, whereas Sebastian no longer can.

@@s.k.g7407 Sebastian Bach did not make Skid Row. Go back to album sleaves and see who wrote the songs. He booked the band to open for Kiss without consulting the other members. That would upset me, too. He should have understood that a decision like this is not his call alone. Seb called Snakes house on Thanksgiving and said some horrible things into his answering machine, and Snake told what has been said Seb yelling ‘You know what? I’m not gonna be in a band with you anymore.’ There you go. It’s as simple as that. Asked by Rolling Stone if Seb thinks his former bandmates are offended that he put his invitation out there publicly, Bach said: "No. I think it's an ego thing. They don't like when I get attention, and they don't get attention. It's always been like that. I can already see them getting mad, because I'm selling out shows, and they're not part of the show, and blah, blah, blah." Seb is toxic

the real singer was much better. by far
