Thanks for beautiful mashup! Would it be ok if i say that music could be better? Tastes differ, i know, but it could be more harmonic with such great videos. GoPro videos as an example

0:03 Play this at .25 speed. He is finishing a turn on his right foot and about to make a new turn on his left foot. He does NOT think about rolling his ankles over and he does NOT think about "Tipping" his knees to the side. Watch his upper body rock to the sides in relation to the direction of his skis. He doesn't make them change direction; they turn when his upper body position moves in the opposite direction of his ski travel. While your skis got to the left, your upper body goes to the left as you change your weight. While his skis continue across the slope, he stops his upper body from following his skis and he thinks, "I want to go straight down the hill." As his upper body falls down the hill, his skis pass under him until his legs are vertical. That's the point where he takes his weight off his right foot and steps on his left foot. The skis have flattened out and start to realign with the direction his upper body is going. His skis continue to slide across the slope as his body goes down the hill and the new leg angle is created so the skis are now on the opposite edges and that left ski controls the new turn. You think about making turns from your eyes down, not from your feet up. The Last thing to change in a turn are your feet, not the first. Roll your ankles over to change edges? That is physically and anatomically impossible and in ski boots, you wouldn't be able to roll them over if they could so why teach the impossible? Tip your knees sideways to get the skis on edge? Again, an anatomical impossibility. Your knees can Rotate and move your lower leg to the side and that is what happened here when he did what I just described. 0:04 At this point his kneecaps are pointing down the hill which lays his lower leg over, so the boots tip and the ski gets on the inside edge. First, he looked down the hill where he wanted the turn to take place. Then he rotated his upper body, so his chest started to face down the hill. Then his pelvis rotated, then his thighs and finally his knees. To accomplish all that, all you have to think about is, "Face down the hill and get off your downhill foot and balance on your uphill foot." Gravity, your momentum and the ski design will do the rest. 0:14 Notice how his skis are still pointing off to the right while his entire upper body, from his face to his knees, is pointing down the hill. The last thing to happen is the skis turning. 0:41 Watch from his face down. Everything heads down the hill and then the skis change direction. 4:00 Now, in a nice tight Slalom turn sequence, he is NOT thrusting the tails of his skis to the side to Make them change direction. Watch his entire upper body and kneecaps in relation to the turning skis. From his face down to his kneecaps he is Just going straight down the hill. As his ski turn under him, he takes his weight off his downhill foot and steps on his uphill foot. Just like pedaling a bicycle. With his weight on his uphill foot and the skis crossing the hill and his upper body going straight down the hill, the leg angle changes, and the skis roll over. No thought of knee tipping or ankle rolling required. They are the end result of doing things that no one bothers to teach you.

Good description. The last real problem for Experts is Pressure Control.

Ok, I will. "Pressure Control" like extension or flexion or transition are terms that should never have been created or used when describing skiing. They don't mean anything without an explanation so why not focus on that instead of labels? "Pressure Control" on skis is like what you would do when you "make a turn in your car". Just saying that does not teach how to do it. You have to make certain adjustments in the car to make it start and complete the turn. Lift off the accelerator, apply a little braking, rotate the steering wheel, and then make some fine-tuned adjustments to the steering wheel. "Pressure" in skiing is the end result of doing other things. Talking about the other things is what makes turns. Pressure is a feeling, not something you need to think about except to gauge it after you have created it. If you feel pressure in your foot, the edges are gripping, and the ski is turning. How do you make the skis grip? By increasing the leg angle. How else can you increase of decrease that grip? By increasing and decreasing the forward or back position of your upper body. The pressure against the tongue of your boot which will bend the tips more or less. That pressure you feel is only the byproduct and shouldn't be used to teach how to create it.
