Although she may have 86 victories they don't compare to her personality. She is so sweet, humble and pretty nice to look at as well. She'll go down as the greatest female achiever in sports history when her career is over.

26:30 Beginning of Mikaela's winning run. It's no wonder really, growing up skiing New England boilerplate ice really forces the skills to improve. I have respect to all these racers, families, ski techs etc. for years of support and commitment to achieve this level of speed. Amazing to watch.

I have watched Ms. Shiffrin for years work her way to the top and like Ingemar Stenmark worked hard to be the best. I hope Europe takes notice that Alpine events are not their exclusive domain and amazing athletes like Ms. Shiffrin are playing to win. Both the USA and Canada have had a couple of Winter Olympics that left behind the means to train for the White Circus.

Especially in slalom, so easy to click and find her runs: no one else looks at all like her. As a kid, I remember the same being true of the way Killy looked at his best.

Congrats Shiffrin. Taking the 86th win in Åre, the very first place you won your 1st world cup as the youngest american ever. We swedish got another great one. That is Sandra Näslund. I wonder how many wins she will get in a row and if someone are able to win as many world cup victories like her.

Now she can make this year like 90 Victorys. 2 Slalom, 1 Super G, 1 Giant Slalom. Downhill is one race too this year but there is heavy to win. But Mikaela is so strong, we know not what a surprise will happen. The Big Crystal Globe won Mikaela Shiffrin too. Next Globe its the Slalom. So she can win this year 2x small Crystal globe and the Big Crystal Globe. Super G and Downhill she cant winning this year but what for a good Saison from Her 😊

The Swedes are rather subdued. I guess they just let loose at the mid summer celebration, ha.

Super achievement that's more than stellar. The interviewer seemed way too obtrusive and somewhat pressing. He needed to be told to shut up and quit pressing the point. Stop the musical advertising interruptions near the end of the race. not impressed with the Rapatries.

Wrong slant: In Europe skiing Ingemar Stenmark means a huge amount - he was a superb legend & she just tied his record & has an attitude like it wasn't that big a deal. Always take the obvious and run with it, but she decided to not do that which won't be very popular in Europe.

That’s not what I took from the interview. She really admires Stenmark and was trying to be level-headed about all of this.
