hey i have a doubt- in all other graphs, for eg- y= | x+1 | , he shifted the graph by one unit HORIZONTALLY. but when the equation was y= | x*2 - 4 | , he shifted it by four units VERTICALLY instead of horizontally. why?????

Hi @Vishnupriya !! hahahha it's been a while since you commented, so I'm not sure if you've figured it out, but its purely a coincidence. By moving the graph vertically up by 1 in y = | x + 1 |, the x-intercept happened to move to the left by 1 as well.
