I’m glad (and surprised) you mentioned drawing hobie’s hair wrong because I’ve seen lots of people draw him with an Afro instead of wicks and it totally throws me for a loop- also the movie was SO good ahh I really enjoyed it and I can’t wait to rewatch it!! This spread is so awesome and it’s totally inspiring me to draw some spidey-people!

It was such a good movie! I can’t believe they left it on a cliffhanger though 😮😭

It’s cause the next one was originally gonna come out next years. It’s been pushed back now though and I’m glad they did because the people actually creating the movie were being treated horribly. I’m hopefully it’ll be better for the next one.

I love ur videos :D Edit: Hobie Brown is my fav spiderverse character too. Fun fact: Did you know that it took 3 years to animate Hobie Brown?

@@inker_monkey Yeah, I was surprised too but apparently the animators made him change like every moment of the movie to match his personality/beliefs of being "inconsistent" so that's probably why.

Yooo!! The pages turned out so good especially the coloring with Hobie. This movie has been my hyperfixation/special interest ever since it came out and the main reason I tell people to go watch it is cause of the artistry. Anyways you did a really good job!!

When you talked about how scary it is to draw in a sketchbook and you just have to not fear it, I 100% understood how you felt. I have 20+ filled sketch books and they're all from when I was younger and didn't fear perfection. I have been drawing exclusively digital art for YEARS now and whenever i try to do something in my sketch book, it just never feels "perfect", but I have to remind myself that it isn't SUPPOSED to feel perfect, it's supposed to feel like my art! But yeah I just wanted to share that with you, you definitely aren't alone with those feelings. I'm glad you're in a better headspace about it! I know it gets exhausting to try and make a clean, neat and organized sketch book.. sometimes we just need to let that kid take over again!

I do like your piece of advice on not to fear art. I definitely think people hesitate, including myself, because of the high expectations we give to ourselves. If you were to give your art ideas a shot, then it’ll definitely become a learning experience and something fun or challenging to try! Love the fanart too, these two are also my favorite characters and you captured their styles amazingly!!

I loved this movie sm the characters were so diverse and not only is the artstyle and animation great but the SOUNDTRACKKK AAAA I could talk abt spider verse all day 😭😭

I just recently made a spread with hobi and one of my new oc’s and I made her like a spiderwoman and I’m obsessed because I love the spiderverse movies and I love your art and I have felt the same way for a long while about feeling afraid to even draw in my sketchbook cause I was afraid of messing up but I have finally started feeling comfortable 👍

As South Indian , I feel so happy that all pavitr’s suit has elements that are reference to many different parts of India, even his swinging style is inspired by kalaripayattu (south Indian marshal art)

The not knowing what to say about the movie after just having seen it because it was just a large ball of pure, gorgeous, emotional perfection is very relatable, haha I'm still processing the fact that this movie exists, Like your video showed on my home page because my home page is like 90% Spiderverse XD That comment about not fearing drawing because it might turn out bad is very important. Your art is never going to look awesome 100% of the time, you shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes or have rough patches because that's ultimately how you grow. Especially in your sketchbook, your sketchbook should be your little safe space, where you can make as many mistakes as you need to, and if you want to have an aesthetic sketchbook, that's great! But don't limit yourself, and if you need to have a little sketchbook separate to that one whenever you feel too scared to draw because you might "mess it up" then do that, don't pressure yourself to be perfect, we are all human after all :D ( Also your art style is sooo cute!!)

i think hobie has wicks? but honestly if you hadn't said anything i probably wouldn't have noticed the different hairstyle. love the video as always! your art keeps just blowing me away completely, can't wait to see more!!

i was in theatres watching this movie and yeah i don't like heroes movies but as i watching this movie i started thinking "ah so this is why movie theatres were made" when the movie was done and credits rolled i didn't wanna leave. like deadass if i wasn't with someone else i would've watched the entire credits and stay as much as possible. I watched the movie without knowing anything about the prequel movie and didn't watch the trailer either. previously I did know every animation fan was gushing over the creativity in the first movie but back then i was like "Meh i don't really care abt spiderman" but watching that movie i got so attached to the characters it was really well made to the point even in the middle of the movie all i could think about was how much love, work and efforts were put into the making of this it made my heart full. anyways I just really appreciate it. also the URGE to draw fanart after was unbearable haha
