We're in skegness at butlins right now from norfolk. My parents bought me here as a child and I'm now bringing my child here too. It's a great price for a holiday at home. The entertainment and fun fair alone do it for us.

​@@kookytoots6755 You could see he was getting very frustrated with them but imagine walking with him, then going back and seeing this and realizing you were being a bit rude by continuing to walk when you could have walked a small bit and left them to continue the video. My mom taught me that a lady should always know when to make an exit.

We ABSOLUTELY Love this video. We think Skegness is great place, we have been 7 times now stopping at the Premier Inn. The Crazy Golf courses in Skegness are some best around. I don't understand why people slate Skegness we Absolutely love the place❤. We love Blackpool too, which is on our return list this October. Next year it is Great Yarmouth, we have never been here, but friends rate it, so we thought it time to try it lol😅😅😅😅

Great wandering around my home town with you. My husband and I know Rachel, she’s a lovely, chatty person. The fairy dell is a cherished part of my childhood and indeed my adulthood. Many happy hours I spent there in the glorious sunshine. It’s a great day out especially if you take a picnic with you. Love your channel Tim. The river ended up abandoned, for around 5 years. Then it took a lot of money and time for them to get clean again. They were pulling shopping trolleys and bike out for about a year. The boat place desided to just go half way and self drive as not as many tourists were showing up to take the tour boat especially at the 🦭 end a few year after shutting down.

Some of my happiest ever memories growing up where at skegness, with my grandparents before my nan passed away. Haven’t had the heart to go back since she passed but i now have a 4 year old daughter I’m taking there this weekend for a week 🥹😭 want to give her the same memories I had. She deserves the world 🙏🏻 thank you for this video, bought back some really good happy memories before my life went really dark. Made me tear up a little seeing the place I love it so much

Yes, The Factory Shop was indeed Wilko's. It joins a growing list of shops we lost including WH Smith. At the start of your video, on the right of you was Herrick Watson's, a long established local business which closed in 2019 and the building is still vacant. Glad you both enjoyed the vibrant night scene that we have in Skegmess - just needs a few tumbleweeds drifting across the prom to complete the picture 😂 As to the Which rating - not to be taken too seriously. Skegmess is what it is, and the people who it appeals to, seem to love it, bless 'em 😂 If it's live theatre with top acts, concerts, top rated restaurants, or any form of culture, Skegmess isn't the place. For beach, slot machines, seaside tat shops, pubs, and cafes, it ticks all those boxes 😊 (Edit: The beach and pubs are the only things that aren't closed after 6pm).

It was sad and disgusting that a child went in this last week and ended up in A&E because some mindless moron threw broken glass inside the water. Why do people have to be pathetic and selfish and ruin things especially for children.

Try Chapel St Leonard’s down the road from ingoldmeals. On the coast. The Beach Bar, on the front. Worth a visit !!

One of my claims to fame is, not only have I never been to Skegness I have actually been paid for "Not going to Skegness". Got to Mablethorpe (dangerously close) last year but my record remains intact.

Me and my little family went to butlins send of April and the amount of kids about even my partner and mum said god I thought the kids be at school

Been there many times over my years, usually for convenience as its closest to us. Its OK for half a day, get some fish and chips and a little walk round but my god it's rough 😅

Old, workingclass resort it is still looking quite popular.A nice sandy beach. I would like the beach front road to be pedestrianised and nicely landscaped.

Dad had a touring Caravan yet spent most weekends at Chapel St Leonards😂😂 As teens we all got jobs there many happy memories . Thanks for the video 😊
