Skating tutorial! How to Royale💧Backside and Frontside technique.

I’ve been spelling Royale, “Royal” So there’s that. Learningggg👊🏼
Do you feel this video helps a bit more than Steeze N’ Stalls? I hope the wheels beneath you are starting to merg with your feet. Thanks for sticking with me this week and I’ll be seeing you again Tuesday! I can’t wait! But as always, “The point of power is always in the present moment.” So that being said… Right now. Get it.
I love you,

Hope I am not too late to answer that. By now you're probably doing 360s already 😄 I used to do 540s back them. The way I started was by jumping with skates while stopped. I would try to bring my knees as high as I could while maintaining myself in the air as much as possible. Then, with knees high enough for a long time, I started doing 180s with knees high up (again, stopped). Then, 180s while staking with some speed. One day, when I was feeling very confident on my the hight of my jumps and pushing my knees high, I tried 360. At first, you might fall less than 360, like 320s or something like that... then you get more confident and risk more, until one day you do a full 360. Lastly, the 360s are easier if you do skating backwards, but I first did them going forward. Btw, br?

As a pretty confident skater, I ALWAYS avoid trying roys and farvs. I think watching this has given me a little inspo and I am going to make it my target when I skate this weekend :)

OK this will be my next goal. How to turn around and do a backside stall. I finally was able to learn how to roll backwards and stall. That was really hard for beginner and I am not able to move left or right a lot while I roll backwards. Seems like you just need to Practice a LOT in just rolling up and down the ramp until your body learns how it works on it's own. The amount my legs shot up backwards and I landed with my shims on the coping and my face in the ramp ... I realize not to extend my feet when I start climbing the transition. LoL miniramp is not a trick you can just unlock, this required constant practice to get even lose to every baby step :)

Hey Jordan! I’m excited about your process because you are learning from trial and error. Exactly as you explained, not extending while riding the ramp up backwards. At first it’s with little power. The power comes from rolling BACK dowwwn the ramp. Not up. Unless your grinding from skating backwards but that’s not your focus yet. The point is you’re breaking it down and that is EVERYTHING. I’m proud of you for sending it, falling, getting back up and processing. Keep going. I believe in your process. Always, I’m grateful you’re here and sharing your experience with me. Love, light, truth, trust, understanding, acceptance, humility, forgiveness. One love brother 🌱
