This is what we dreamed of in the early 90s. You have no idea how much seeing this means. If my back wasn't jacked I'd drive downstate in a second

Sounds like you better get started with some PT on that back. Those streets aren't going to skate themselves. 😁

PT that shit homie. Start with 5 of whatever exercise and work your way up. Take a year if you need to. Took me a year and a half to get where I’m at and I’m at 90-95%. At this point it’ll help me hit that 💯 and go further than I’ve ever gone.

Totally!! It's so amazing seeing everyone enjoy themselves so much. There's that Retro feel to it when alot of us (now in our late early/late 40's/50's) can identify with both a beautiful childhood & young adulthood on 🛼 Skates bigtime. *Thank you for this beautiful video!* I get both kinda teary-eyed when I see it AND 🔥 fired up and inspired to dust my nice quads off after YEARS on the shelf and go skate after at least 10yrs of not doing so. Thanks for the 👏 channel!!!

Same for me. I used to skate every single day in the late 90's/early 2000's. I wish a had a group of skater friends to roll with. Now I've busted my ankles so many times, and too old to get back in the game. LOL. I'm living through watching them skate.
The fact that you’re wearing khakis and a button down & a drink with no lid …making this look effortless is what makes this video top notch.
As someone from a small town who gets excited when I see one other skater, this looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharin!

I love to speed skate, but I have only ever done so in an oval rink. But going straight?????? 😍😍😍😍😍😍 it looks like heaven omg. Except when my wheel hits a penny my wheels skid to a stop I faceplant. I can’t imagine what it’s like if you roll over small pebbles on the ASPHALT. 😬 Road burn coming in hot 😳

Love seeing a man on Quads hitting the streets.
I haven’t skated since 13 years old. I’m 32. Just ordered some FR1 Intuition 80s last night!!!! Cannot wait! Eventually I’ll be able to afford an Endless 90 frame and wheel set but for a beginner, I’m blessed to be in Intuition lined FR1s as it is! See y’all on the streets of ARKANSAS! 😂😂😂
Ive never seen someone rip so hard on roller skates. Dev is legit
No activity has ever looked more enticing to me than this video right now!

The quad skater was just floating man wtf.. I need some skates again!
The mastery of the quad guy in the tunnel is rarely seen. Impressive
I'm obsessed with these videos, it really feels like all these people skating are the only people truly living. It makes me so tempted to try skating, but I haven't done it since I was a kid and I'm terrified of getting injured.

If I ever see NYC this is the way I want to do it , great props to whoever organized this. They should start this in all major cities, I am pretty close to Seattle ;)

I just googled it and they can actually go faster. About 60mph. That’s insane.
That is so mesmerizing to watch, I used to go quad rollerskating every Saturday night when I was a teen, I was never any good, but I was able to hand dance while moving in a circle, and that made me feel very proud that I could do something. In-line skates make me way too nervous that I would break my ankle, It looks also freeing the way you all move. Very beautiful. Thank you for showing this video.
This is awesome but I just wanna say, around the 3 min mark how close some of y’all were gettin to the oncoming cars in the other lane, I would hate to be a driver in one of those 😂 mini heart attack when one of y’all comes right up on that double yellow line
Looks so much fun. Although I gotta admit ,if I were one of those drivers, having a bunch of people skating around me would give me an anxiety attack. Probably wouldn't be able to continue driving.

If you're dumb enough to drive a car in the city you're used to navigating through endless chaos from point A to B.
@niri2506

@@Thezuule1well depending on the city and country a car isn't too bad. Only extreme places like NYC are truly bad for cars 😅 But yeah the endless chaos is in every big city. However a bunch of skaters are truly another level of chaotic. 😅😅😅

@@thestutteringskater that's weird, maybe it's the extreme wide-angle of the 360 camera. Something about some of the foot/leg movements looked off to me. I'll have to watch it some more times on TV instead of phone. Love your work man.

Great stuff! I work remotely, but most my team is in Manhattan. I’ve gotta visit the office on a Wednesday and hit up WNS afterwards.
I love it. The energy is through the roof
So much love. The music, the cuts, well done. I am enthralled. Love it

dev was moving so fast it didn't even look real - then the no-look HANDOFF lol their spatial awareness is honed to superhuman levels i swear these guys are living in a relativity simulation and the ground just moves beneath them
Amazing skating skills! You are so lucky to leave in the city that offers you gatherings like this. Most people on this planet live quite boring life and you-rock! Keep up!
I got to find the roads in florida that are so smooth. Florida got to have them. I just moved here so. Just got my new incline roller blades they was cheap cause I’m on a budget but I’m learning balance since it’s been a while since I used roller blades. Use to skate all the time when I was younger. I stayed outside frfr.

Wow! This is AMAZING!
Wow I wished I knew about this the 10 years I was working in nyc! I’ve always been a lone blader. It’s probably why I can’t do all those cool tricks; no one to challenge me! I’m 58 now and bought my first Bauer rollerblades in 1993. Learned how to skate along the Susquehanna river in Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
no way! i had no idea nyc did this
Something I just thought of that makes me smile is, holding hands with someone and spinning in circles with them while both of us are wearing skates and protective gear.
Pitch perfect🔥👌
I'll come to the city and join this year!!!!!!!!! I used to be the only rollerskater in Lancaster city, out on my quads on the streets early a.m.
Fantastic!
Goosebumps ❤

Right at the end truly masterful
The transition between them at @7:46 is impressive.
I’m surprised the streets are smooth enough to skate on, I’d be terrified of hitting a rock or other debris laying in the road and pissed off drivers wanting to plow me over, esp in NY, but man this would be so much fun. I wish we had something like this back in my skating hay days. When I did make it into the big city to one of two rinks near me, one of 30 miles south, the other was 45 miles east I tore it up until closing! I live in the country, skating on backroads is impossible with all the massive potholes, gravel, dirt and tractors on the roads and whatever the tractors dropped on the roads, like turnips that pop out of the bins on the farm trucks!
Skating or cycling though nyc can be such a fun experience especially if someone has a speaker and plays some music.
Lol that one brother in front of you is having the time of his life
Such a beautiful video that you even made a new day of the week! 0:17

This is AMAZING!!!!!! If I lived in NY I would SO be here! And its funny I'm juts now realizing as someone who played Hockey for almost 20 years and skied my entire life, Skating is like breathing to me.... And I am juts now realizing I haven't owned a pair of skates in my entire adult life.... Thats about to change!
Dude~~! Was that a selfie stick pass at 7:49? Wow! It's almost like a video edit continuous shot, and so nicely transitioned that the focus on the center of the frame effect almost warps right at the pass.

i just listen to them. When i’m cruzing from point A to B i use my cane to follow sidewalks and streets. Aggressive skating is more about mental mapping the spot i’m at and falling alot untill i can land the atempted trick. It's all in the way things feel.
This gives a whole new meaning to “check my foot work”
