Okay, so I thought "well, I just don't get, how a pressure flip works, I should look for a slow motion video to check out what the feet are doing to understand the way, the board flips." So here I am, watching this beautiful video of clips worth being school material and I still don't have a single clue. i just don't get how it works, but it looks beautiful.

I know over 10 different pressure flips. 1) the front foot only controls the flip of the board; if kept it still it'll only do a shuvit 2) the goal is to get 1 part of the board to tuck under itself, depending on what part of the board you use or what type of shuvit you do it'll produce a different rotation. 3) always catch front foot 1st. 4) the entire flip rotates around whatever part of the board you applied pressure too

As a 90s veteran who can still hardflip I would say concentrate totally on getting a strong, late downward push with your back foot. The front foot slightly guides it round initially, but then stays relaxed under you during the rotation, slightly tucked up. Keep your center of gravity over the spinning board and you've got it.

If anyone wants to learn these think of them as shuvits that tucks under itself. You can do these fs and bs to produce different flips. If you are in the basic pressure flip stance but do a FS shuvit it'll do a varial heel flip motion. You can place your pressure at different spots combined with either a FS or bs shuvit for different flips.

All you do for this trick is: 1 apply pressure on the side of your board to get the one side to be under the rest of the board. 2 shuvit backwards and at the same time raise your front foot up. 3 get back foot out of the way to let the board flip. 4 jump up and Infront of you if you're doing a BS shuvit, if it's a FS shuvit you jump up and backwards. 5 land front foot then back foot with all of your weight on your back foot. You'll land every time if you follow those steps

The board moves the exact same way that an inward heelflip would, but to do a pressure flip you are using your back foot solely for the flip. I could only pressure flip on my own boards usually though because when it was worn out in that area. its been a while but i think I learned it on accident when I was trying some other trick.

Not exactly Fronside flips are done with with a flick of the foot and a pop shuvit. They complete an actual 360 spin for the flip. Hardflips are popped so they flip on their back, and then do a 180 flip so that the board is land-able

Easy way to do this is with one foot on the back of the board put the ball of your foot on the concave and just push down and scoop. Practice that for awhile with one foot and then hop on and keep at it. Just one of those tricks that has to make sense in your head before it can be done.

No, it's flipped like a inward heel (pop shuv + heelflip) on everything is done with your back foot. So if you try and do a inward heel with only your back foot thats the trick only try it both feet. 360 flip is a 360 shuv + kickflip. 180 flip aka varial flip is 180 shuv + kickflip.

No, hardflips rotate kind of like a kickflip/impossible but you use your back foot in a pressure foot to scoop and flick into a wierd-ass heelflip/impossible thing. And it really feels like your trying to make an "inward" kickflip but most of the time thats to hard and the board spin vertically.
