If you're in Vancouver go to the suburbs, burnaby, surrey, coquitlam, port moody langley. lots of great spots and not so busy and capped like downtown is

That's what I would do these days..... I don't get it though. There's an absolute tonne of places to skate all through Vancouver that are way better than what he showed in this video. Why no coal harbour double set, PNE big 3, BMO line, Post office sets/rails etc?Lots of wicked places with no caps/security guards in richmond, burnaby, coquitlam....

UBC is nice. The ground is smooth but lots of ledges are skatestopped, but they still make great manual pads. There's a few spots going along from downtown towards canada place. Gastown is bumpy and filled with tourists but there's a few spots there as well like the courtyard of Woodwards building. There's not much to skate at the seawall but its a nice chill push around. I do love everything he mentioned in the video, you just have to be creative skating Vancouver, it's more fun than what people say it is!

You really don't see a lot of McCrank footage anymore. I'm glad that he's still alive and well and still having fun skateboarding. Bless you man.

Z Gates I admire the older dude/skateboarder and it's great that he represents SKATE Vancouver. By the way since the majority of active skateboarders at our parks are under 19, it's no wonder I give this video 5 stars. Vancouver, where the clouds rule the skies overhead.... love the city!

Wow.. I remember seeing Rick in a Transworld magazine for the first time. No internet, no VHS, I just saw a picture and I was blown away. This guy is a legend. I'm glad that besides everything wrong and evil the internet brings some joy in lives of old skaters who can now see people and things they knew ages ago..

2014 i just went backpacking through van and it was cool to see some of the spots that i walked through, defs a chill place to cruise.

I honestly like how the evolution of skateboarding is pushing locals to get more creative with their surroundings, all the caps are just added obstacles ;P VANCITY REPRESENT

owww, Yeah man ankle brakes are the worst, did that myself about 4 or 5 years ago.how'd you do it? I just didnt expect to be so fuzzy about this broken toe, but man it hurt and still hurts like shit. Its been about 3 months now and still hurts.

@MrCurryLOL both tricks are doing the 360 rotation of the board, but with a big spin you land rolling switch because you move your body 180 like a bs 180, but the board has an extra rotation
