My take on Peter Sam is that he doesn't hit particularly hard, but it kind of doesn't matter because you'll exhaust yourself before you do any real damage to him. My man took a train of fully loaded slate cars to the face and was repaired *on site* . He can tank pretty much anything.

Can't disagree more with your assessment of Duncan. He's all bark and no bite. He's the type of dude who talks a big game but starts every fight with a looping right hook that misses wildly and opens him up to a free body shot. Or whatever the steam engine equivalent of that is. Give yourself some credit, you could take Duncan.

Smaller than standard Guage engines but they still pack a ton. It was hard enough for several passengers to lift Duncan so I'm definitely gonna lose. Never overlook a little engine.

Regarding the opening joke: we don't have any train-themed gum, but there's an Australian licorice bar called Choo Choo Bars. They're pretty tough to eat, though, and they aren't really that good anyway.

Quite possibly Skarloey two in his early years. If I had to make a human alternate universe, I can picture him being depressed as a young adult, leading to his nasty attitude. He probably developed a bit of a problem in order to cope with his feelings, until he had a near death experience.

That’s the only name that I think I would willingly pronounce wrong on purpose, just because I’m so used to the other pronunciation, and I’ll probably forget to pronounce it right. I’m such a stickler for things being pronounced correctly, but I think this is the only exception.
