Thanks Alan!! They are getting better! To me, that distance is more than impressive enough. Now, more than ever, all else has to catch up. It was cool with the 5g wifi and all but now these can go 2km - 3km without an issue with your phone or tablet! No wonder DJI came out with the mini se! The gap is narrowing and will be blurred soon. Maybe next year :)

Thanks Ray!! Yes, I'm, trying it in a new direction on the field so I'm not sure if it is a good area or not but it did go 2.6km :)

Nice flight. WiFi range is good considering the local 'noise' it would have to put up with.

More than enough distance for me for sure! I would never go more than 2km anyway. :)

If that is true, that may be the reason for the Holystone HS600 release getting pushed back.

When you put the LANDING OPTION, (HOME) When the drone lands, it turns itself off ... and then the "ready to fly" mode is activated ???... I have Many problems to land PLEASE HELP ME...

Flying time

One of the best, long distance , non professional quad copter on the market, it has it flaws, but, I believe will be fixed on the next model. (Jello in the video). This one is a game changer, priced about right as well. 2022 models will be based on this SJRC F7 Pro. (It’s about time a decent drone hit the market) Thanks Pete for your work, it’s greatly appreciated.

Yes it is starting to get real with these budget gps drones. One of the three good ones now with the Holystone HS600, F11 GIM2 and now the F7. I'm sure others will soon follow :) 👍🍺😎

Price this drone?

That's a pretty respectable flight-range :-) Guess you valley-test-range would've allowed for slightly more distance, but who is really flying that far?

It is awesome that now wifi fpv video transmission is this reliable. No more aio vtx mounting :) You can check out a lot of neighbors all around the neighborhood!

@@RCEscape: I still have a Bugs 2SE and fly it from time to time. But i do have a few drones. The Bugs 2SE and rebranded clones (there are 5 i know of) are the quietest drones ever.

I could have but I chickened out :) It will however have a 3km geofencing and will auto return at that point.

You could use google earth to see if the measure on display is precise or not.

I find that 150 meters in height is as low as I like to go on range test. 300 meters will usually do better.

You do realize 400 feet is the maximum limit for a drone for both recreation and professionals. That is equal to 120 meters.
