I just bought this and received a couple days ago. My only drone experience has been with a very cheap one that was very difficult to fly. The SRJC is a dream to fly for a beginner. It is so stable and easy to fly. A very informative video for a beginner

Vid was very helpful. POI was never mentioned in the manual that came with it. This just explained (28:00) how to do that 👍🏻 Mine arrived last few days. Took 2 weeks delivery. So far so good. Very stable and great vid/ photo quality.

I just purchased this drone for my 13yr old son. The anticipation of waiting for it to be mailed is killing us 😅🤪... we can wait for it. And your video is awesome by the way, and very informative, thanks you!

Kind of boring review, but by far the most comprehensive review on youtube for this model. I pulled the trigger because of this. Thanks!

You do the best job of anyone testing every feature and capability on these. I grabbed a rebranded F11 Pro on Amazon - Ruko F11 Gim - while it's about $70 more with 2 batteries, they sent coupon for a 3rd! Plus 1 day delivery, very excited to get flying. Only thing these lack is headless mode, which will force me to learn to fly properly as a beginner. Thanks for covering these in great detail - definitely one of the best budget drones.

Very well done. I have had one for about a year now and haven't flown it yet. I've watch a number of drone videos and wonder why everyone uses a phone with it. I just want to have fun flying around. Don't want to mess with a phone. Seems like it makes work out of it. I don't have a phone and am not going to get one just to fly a drone. I'm 79. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. I used to fly R/C many years ago, so am not new to joy sticks.

You do the best review of a drone, I've ever seen. I have the F11 4K and my wifi disconnects often, just like this one did. I noticed it didn't reconnect. That is a problem I have a hard time with. I'm not sure what that happens. Great review.

Thanks :) Wifi is not very reliable even if it is 5G on this one. Try the F11S 4k pro. The wifi is good for 3km. It has a relay transmission to boost wifi.

Hi I had the original F11 flew great but the camera was not great, now I have the f11 pro 4k what a big difference. I trust it more than my Zino

@@RCEscape Just a FYI I could not order from the link you provided either, they said they dont ship to Illinois, I ended up ordering from Banggood because they ship from China to a US warehouse then priority out. They also accept PayPal so you have buyer protection. That is the first time I used Banggood and I have heard good and bad, mine was luckily a good experience.

@@peterantheunis9462 I haven't come across any negatives about the company only some of the e bike reviews with negatives saying the product was not good. This is the first time I am working with this company and looks like this is a new company that looks and feels like banggood but notice there are no customer reviews but they sold a lot of this particular drone so if you feel safer getting it somewhere else that is entirely up to you.

Agreed, one of the better gimbal equiped budget quadcopters out there right now! Until now, you would still see all sorts of jittering in the footage of these cheaper gimbal-quads, but this combo with EIS works pretty darn good. Kinda gives the Fimi A3 (which is much older but with better range) a run for its money. And appreciated that you use 'quadcopter' instead of 'drone' ;-)

Thank you for this very thorough instructional video! So much better than the manual or instructional videos that came with the app. One question, you said before every flight a compass calibration is needed. Do I need to calibrate the gyro every time also?

Thanks! The compass calibration definitely has to be done every time but the gyro doesn't necessarily needs to be done since the gps position keeps it hovering in one spot and will not drift but it is good practice to gyro calibrate since it also calibrates the gimbal and if you turn off gps and fly non gps mode it will help to fly level without drifting.

i have the non gimbal version from contixo but its an f11pro same body same battery , i liked that drone alot and wish it had a gimbal and what do you know found this at amazon and just placed an order i also have dji air2s but only use it for the video photography but being a beginner i dont fly it much and just practice on the f11 pro so anyway awesome view

How funny, I just posted something about my camera problem, but thought I was in an other page. So I went to my bookmarks where I saved my original viewing of 'yours' but realised it's the same! So I replayed your entire video and now can associate with many things you tried here as I experienced and learnt many of them. So thank you again. One question, somewhere you mentioned a distance of 900m so why the D for distance shows only 300 something? I was not so enthusiastic about that low battery return home and yes I noticed, (sometimes to my detriment) it kicks on at about 15 mins. mark. In my case I feel robbed of about 10 minutes flight because I keep moving with it. So I really have to watch that 'kick on' that is indicated by red lights blinking for a few seconds before it takes off to its last starting point. At a low altitude it may also head to a tree or even yourself if you're on its way before it soar up to the designated height it's set.

I have a DJI P4 Pro but I bought this F11 Pro for fun. Your review was very good...I enjoy your enthusiasm. I was really hoping for an Out of Range test to see 1. How far it CAN go...and 2. Test the auto RTH when out of range. Maybe next vid??

@@Kholaslittlespot1 It works well. The video quality is excellent but transmission locks up now and then...don't know why. It is small and compact and good for practising flying skills. No obstacle avoidance so you need to be careful but picture quality is surprisingly good.

Great video! VERY informative! Is this drone basically the same drone as the Ruko F11 Gim? They look exactly the same. I just bought the Ruko and just wondered if everything in your video would still apply to the Ruko?

Great review Thanks Your review is very good and covers a lot. Thanks for your time and effort. A few comments: I noticed from the video your app version is a bit behind. The latest app as of today is 1.4.1. (vs your level of 1.2.8) and the firmware level on my drone is 3.70.51 (your video shows 3.70.43). Not sure of the improvements in either or how you update the firmware, the app should be easy to update by just downloading the latest version. It's good to know that they are actively updating the app to hopefully improve it and fix some bugs. There are a few sections missing and some text still in Chinese but overall a decent app. The F11 is a really good drone especially for the $. The tiny manual leaves a lot to be desired and videos like yours really help. If you get the time adding a review of route rules/waypoints on the F11 app would be useful. I found the lack of being able to save the route rules/waypoint maps once set is a feature the app should provide. It's not clear to me what the icon that looks like a compass needle ( 4th of 5 ) does? It doesn't seem to do anything on my app and I find it very confusing when the route map shown on my phone doesn't agree with what is actually in front of me. So when I set waypoints the waypoints aren't actually where I expected the drone to fly. I might not have expressed the issue I'm having clearly but If you can clue me in on how to have the orientation of the map on my phone agree with what I see in front of me I'd appreciate it.
