Hi Pearl, this one was definitely the better fit for me, not only does it cut bigger shapes, but it also does more layers and is just a much more industrial machine.

I have the pro and simply love it u can do anything with it.

Is the adapter plate that you’re using the one that comes with the machine?

Thank you so much for the video. It was exactly the info I needed. I have the accuquilt and wanted to use bigger dies but would’ve had to buy the GO electric $499!. So did some research and bought the sizzix big pro to use with the bigger accuquilt dies and also will be buying some Sizzix dies too. Thanks again.

Thank you for your video. I am considering buying this machine so that I can cut 10"x10" squares. Can you do any fussy cutting with this machine? How do I center the fabric to do that?

Hi, this machine could do fussy cutting, you would have to cut the fabric slightly larger than the actual die cut shape. Maybe an inch larger all the way around, then to keep it put I would use washi tape or masking tape around the edges to keep it centered where you want it so you can get your print of your fabric exactly where you want it. Do you have any suggestions on using Accuquilt dies in the Pro, since they no longer make the Adapter G for the pro?

Hi Jackie, I mean for the regular size dies, not the XL size you could probably stack like two pieces of stencil mylar as the adapter g, it's a very thin adapter, only a couple mm. I had no idea they stopped making the adapter. Thats definitely a bummer.

Dianne, thanks for your question, I would have to try out the machine for that purpose, but with the amount of layers I personally cut on it I would have to say yes to both. Leather is so thick and tough but I think one layer at a time could be cut, though I would have to attempt this myself first to be sure. Felted wool would be awesome to cut with this, I would say no more than one layer of that as well. Again, I could not be absolutely positive unless I tried to do these myself. Hope this helps! How can I get a custom die that is compatible with this machine?

Hi there, Ok so if you go on to Sizzix website, you can go to the 'custom dies' section, and you are able to call them for like a quote. I was interested at one point but ended up taking a different direction for my business. Its a great option that they offer though- I have no clue about pricing though :/ Thanks for watching- I hope this helps.

Can thin dies be used with this machine?

Hi Butterfly Divas ! Yes any Sizzix dies can be used with this machine! Its just bigger so you have more space!!!
